The Banting/LCHF Thread

Three quarters of a teaspoon. Didn't want to overdo it, since I skimped on the sweetener as well.

Loaded cauliflower, my first attempt. Replaced chives with green pepper and left out the mayonnaise (lazy to make my own) and semi fried the mushrooms and bacon in olive oil

Have lost about 3 kg of solid fat but a heck of a lot more centremeters. Suppose I shouldn't worry too much as weight is only one thing.

Skin improved, stomach issues cleared up and no cravings.

How long?

Cheese.... You need more cheese!

Otherwise it looks good.

Yeah more cheese would be better, I used mozzarella instead of cheddar, it's not so orange like - you can't really see the cheese in the pic, it's sort of blending in due to its color...but agreed more cheese would have helped

Ah... The mozzarella makes sense.

Never tried it with loaded cauliflower. I usually only put that in my meatza along with cheddar.

Might give the mozzarella a go on the cauliflower too.

Thanks - slow but steady - that's healthy. I'll let my wife know - she's lost much quicker on other diets but I suspect this one is less about quick loss and more about long term.

My dinner this evening: cauliflower pizza topped with butter/garlic mushrooms, feta, and biltong. :D
