Dinner tonight: pork chops, cauli + broccoli, onions and one of those big mushrooms. Would have stuffed mushroom with cheese and garlic flakes but I've run out of both.

And for dessert: IMG_20150507_141018.jpg

Tomorrow will probably be calamari steaks, cabbage and mushroom. Might buy some turnips and try turnip fries again.

Well, I have started taking only one suger in my coffee. I used to have 4. I have gotten used to the bitter taste now. I tried Xilitol but damn it is expensive. :(

We (until MR Mila has dropped at least 20kgs) Will be on a 0 sugar intake.

It's been three days....I'm depressed already. Considering Prozac to compensate. :(

( No joke about the depression, it must be something changing in my body. The headache lasted only 2 days.)

Good man! I was a 3-4 teaspoon per cup person. I can now smash any strength coffee without any sugar and I LOVE it! Filter coffee, intensity 13 Nespresso. I enjoy them all :)

:eek::eek::eek: Well played!

Last night I added them - 37 slabs of Frey and 12 or so of Lindt 85%. That is nearly R1.5k in chocolate which is insane. I obviously bought them in batches as and when a special came up so lost count of actual spend but if my house burnt down I would be bleak as hell!

It is. Really.
And the difference with sugar in carbs / calories is not that big - IMO.
For my coffee, I use stevia (which far more expensive than xylitol but it's so sweet that you only need to use a tiny amount. One packet can go a long way) and other cooking xylitol if I have it, otherwise brown sugar at its lowest consumption. But I try my best to go 0 sugar.

I have mine with full cream ... full cream is dilicious ... unlike that other stuff that looks and tastes like chalk water. bleh.

I'm having a lot of cream lately as its so low carb. Toying with the idea of trying it in coffee.

Just give it time. Your body is changing and it's fighting you against the lack of carbs. Be ready to be very irritable for a couple of days as well.

If you and hubby are doing it... eish, I see divorce papers!!! :D :D

Just realize it's the diet change... and keep pushing through it... once you feel human again, you feel like a super human!!

Have you guys made bullet proof coffee yet for brekkie? Jissis, it gives you a kick the first time that you feel like you can take on The Rock for 10 rounds in the ring!

Sorry, full cream everytime, yes!

On this note though - I find milk added to coffee ruins it for me now. Must have the full cream flavour.
Fantastic. Thank you. I can go sugar free... with some effort, but coffee without milk! oi! :D
