checkers waterfall selling banting bread at R30 a loaf - launch was R20 but they quickly upped it - heavy on the flax flavour
Yeah the Checkers in Menlyn also has them. They get all slimy because of all the flax.

Damn. WW is selling theirs for R60. I also saw that they now have Banting rusks but for R80 a small pack![]()
anyone try that banting ice cream from woolies?
Wont lie, the price increases have made it difficult to keep up my banting menu at home.. find myself struggling a bit to find options, mixing in a few more carbs here and there where I usually wouldnt.

WW is probably based on coconut or almond flour.
For banting rusks and choclotate chip cookies dischem have from R25 a packet - the chocolate chip was under 2 carbs per cookie if I recall
Quick opinion: I'm a big fan of the chocolate flavour, but I find the vanilla too sweet although some chopped up 85% Lindt mixed in makes it more palatable. It is a bit too high in carbs for my liking, but it hits the spot. Haven't noticed a bad after taste either.
woolies vienas very low on carbs. are they good for banting?
yei or nei?
well i thank you now, i shall give them a try.simply chicken viennas.
you can thank me later.
I personally wouldn't eat viennas very often. Processed meat like that isn't good for you. Once or twice a month won't kill you, but don't eat it every week.
Easter must go away now. Can't help but snack on the odd marshmallow egg or two a day. 10g carbs each.
