320d every day of the week and twice on SundaysHey guys, is it worth getting a 2017 F30 320d with 139k kms. In terms of reliability, yearly maintenance and risk. I currently have 2022 Polo Vivo GT but I have had my headlights stolen twice and was looking at either the T-Cross or a 320D. I know both are very different cars but they will serve the same purpose, daily driver.
I’d say so. The engine is just getting warmed up at that mileage. I have a friend with over 500k on the clock and mine is around the 145k mark with zero issues. These are great cars. Get used to slightly higher service fees, increased speeding fines, and people judging you for being a BMW driver. I get around 1000km per tank btw.Hey guys, is it worth getting a 2017 F30 320d with 139k kms. In terms of reliability, yearly maintenance and risk. Eish those speeding fines. I racked up about R6000 with one for R1500 with a Figo. Can only imagine with a beemer. LolI’d say so. The engine is just getting warmed up at that mileage. If I had to choose between a T Cross and the 320d it’s really no contest. I feel safe knowing I have BMW’s road service network and even call them out to plug a tyre. Very professional experience.
The ones I'm looking at are the M sport ones.BMW wins everytime, unless has no extras it in.
In BMW everything basically extra.
Poverty specs BMW can be a bit of sore eye![]()
M-sport is basically just for looks, you coudl buy m-sport with manual airconThe ones I'm looking at are the M sport ones.
I mean with F30s, you can't get more extra than m sport. Unless my knowledge on F30s is lacking.M-sport is basically just for looks, you coudl buy m-sport with manual aircon![]()
Correct m-sport was top line you get, but does not add anything inside. Gives you better visual outside, and bigger wheels etc, but inside you still be sittting in bmw that looks like vwI mean with F30s, you can't get more extra than m sport. Unless my knowledge on F30s is lacking.

I personally had the sport-line, just under m-sport, but had 100k extra on the inside like full parking assist, headups display etc etc.
Those prices are not bad at allFollow up question.

Not sure if they are worth it for that price.
Is the standard 6.5in display any good? Haven't paid too much attention to themI would try min to get one 8.8 inch pro nav, as when this option was selected a few other things had to purchased as well.
When a car has 8.8 nav system it probably has few other extra's as well.
Its ok, there is 2 version standard 6.5 and 6.5 bussiness nav.Is the standard 6.5in display any good? Haven't paid too much attention to them
There might be aftermarket android units as a cheaper option, and with up to date softwareIts ok, there is 2 version standard 6.5 and 6.5 bussiness nav.
They very basic with other one adding nav to 6.5 inch screen.
8.8 option is quite hard to find, as I think it was 20k option and then force to buy other options with it. So they force you buy extended dash display if you buy the 8.8 inch nav, which gives digital reading petrol consumption instead of normal analog one. Can't remember what else what forced to buy with the 8.8 inch nav, as it was quite a while back.
Well then this is great news, got my G42 220d M-Sport (same motor as G20 320d) with about 19,000km in early December as a 35th BDay present for myself, I have put 5,000 happy kilometres on it alreadyI’d say so.
