Here is a good ab workout for the lower abs

I swop the "Land Mines" for Windscreen Wipers though, which is very good for obliques as well.

Like APoc said, you may not see your abs below the fat, but no reason not to work them anyway. When you finish you bulk and cut your BF, then all the hard work will be visible.

If you think you aren't eating enough... then you probably aren't.

Anyone use Pro Nutrition supplements? and has any problems with it etc.?

that common??

A lot more common than you think. Every second meat head is selling these days. Means every meat head is using then. ;)

^

Or just the random friend with ripped abs from just walking to the fridge everyday

Not saying there aren't some genetic freaks out there. And yet he didn't just get those ripped abs by walking to the fridge, did he?

But the average guy does not have rock hard six packs the whole year.

wow, didn't think that it was. I saw a guy the other day in the Sea Point checkers mall and that oke look very unnatural, if that makes sense. He kinda looked freakish. oh and he had these skinny legs :)

If everyone uses them, are they not dangerous? I always thought they made your dick small :D

This guy has had a six pack since grade 6 :erm: He does play indoor soccer now though.

Would be nice to see my abs again :(

They can be quite dangerous if you don't know what you are doing - but I think for a lot of people the rewards outweigh the risks.

Dosing with testosterone can cause your balls to shrink.

I think I know some people who have juiced :/ Considering how small they were before.

Thanks for this, I appreciate it. Windscreen Wipers are definitely better than those Land Mines, in terms of complexity I mean.

If I explain to you what I am doing (stomach) would you be able to tell me if your posted workout is better??

I look at those okes and Im like, hmmm maybe I should consider it. Then I think it could kill me, so I decided against it. I just plod along with my slow progress and will get there eventually :)

To be honest - you probably won't.

But as long as you are happy with your progress - who cares?

Post your current ab workout, and we can all chip in.

That look is not what I want . Too huge and out of proportion for me :p

Ok, just remember that these are filler-ins that I do in between my main workout.

10 x 3 sets (just body weight, though today I went another level down)

15 x 3 sets

15 x 3 sets (note: I lift my knees up I dont swing my legs up)

I would incorporate some planks somewhere.

The strength and stability you gain from that will also greatly assist with things like squats and deadlifts.

Squats and deadlifts are a no go for me. My one knee is a bit dodge. I tried some deadlifts and yeah, wasnt happy the next day (the knee)

So perhaps I should add in some Swiss Ball Planks?

Also, I've always wondered about that 2nd exercise, is it any good? :)

I also have very dodgy knees. 7 knee ops already to clean out the cartilage and crap.

Doc made me promise to work on legs.

Remember that by strengthening the muscles around the knees, it take a lot of pressure off the joint.

Start out really low and slow with squats and deadlifts. It takes a long time but they are really worth it.

Another thing that works wonders especially for targeting that muscle right at the knee. Bicycle.

RE: 2nd exercise. I tend to stay away from machines and do everything with free weights or bodyweight. Then you hit those smaller stabilizer muscles too.
