This is exactly where I'm at now... I just turned 42, and while I can see changes, I just feel a little demotivated that my 'gainz' aren't the same as some of the other 'younger' guys I see in the gym, and also my occasional 30-something gym partner. I know from my medical this time last year that my test levels are a bit low, but they still fall into the 'normal' range, so HRT isn't really an option at this point. It was this time last year that I started researching test and cycling - and now after a year, I am back at that point with the same questions in my head.
If I was 10 or more years younger, I definitely wouldn't! But I also don't want to wait 4-5 yrs of slow progress to get close to my goals. I train hard 5x a week, and my diet is pretty good, so I know I should be seeing better results than what I am. So for me it's kinda a toss up at the moment, either I get a trainer or a do a cycle. And the only thing turning me off about cycling is the fact that just doing 1 cycle will not be enough!
