Gave you a few weeks to try my disprin advice. Was wondering if you noticed the improvement ?

Seems to be working :) Still get stiff - but at least I can walk properly the next day :p

Started Gym about 2 months back. I.m 5 ft 7 and about 56kg ( initially-Quite thin ). Pretty chuffed with myself, moved up to weights >12kg over the last week and started doing dips, hopefully in the next couple of months I will make some more progress. Considering I was struggling with 6kg at the start and couldn't do a single dip lol. Go to gym 5 days a week, focusing on 1-2 muscle group/day. Protein shake twice a day with regular meals. I still look thin but atleast I am moving forward.

I just had a look at it and it seems very overdosed. What time do you usually gym? Can you go to sleep after gym or does the stims keep you up?

I get up 4:30 smack back some ester and a pre work-out, then i hit the gym at like 5ish. You damn right it is overdosed :D. Most insane pre work out i have ever tried. I bought shotgun as well so i will test that tomorrow.

I only take a pre work out because i know if i do not i will be half assed at gym, never nice getting up at 4:30.

That's part of the package you will need to accept when "bulking-up" I think. All those carbs. :) When you start cutting again you will throw off the little bit of fat and hopefully feel less bloated.
How do u know when it's a good time to start cutting? My gains have been very slow[1] as I seem to take 2 steps forward and 1 step back when i get sick or something forces me to cut down the gym frequency. I really wanna see my of my hidden six pack so i was wondering whats the best way to burn fat?

Is it running/cardio or a calorie restricted diet? I can see the top 2 segments of my hidden six pack but realise i probably need to lose 4kg of fat to see the rest!

I weigh 66kg currently, am 1.68 metres tall and i am 18-19% body fat according to one of those Salter scales.

The heaviest I have ever been in my adult life is 67kg and the lightest is 62.5kg (early this year). I have averaged 65kg for the last 14 years so at my height I have never been a very cut individual! My personal trainer classes me as 'skinny fat' which I think is apt unfortunately :(

EDIT: [1] Been gyming on and off for the last year.

Need some advice and changes:

I currently work out of the city where I live so actually going to a gym would be very difficult, but I have built up a gym at home.
GOALS: Looking to keep fat off as best I can, have a good beach body for average guy.
Height: 5.9
Weight 79kg

Can see my 4 pack, lower abs are flabby and looks awkward in the mirror ( I know diet for lower abs) I do enjoy my beer and braai’s though but try to keep cheating till the weekend 

Daily grind:
Wake up at 5:30am - drive 60km to work
Leave work at 5pm - drive 60km back home
I have a gym at home that I have built up: in a 4 car garage
A number of free weights , punching bag, bench press bench, dumbbell bench, cycle bike
Trojan gym machine - Cover's peck deck, lat pull downs, bench press, pull ups, rowing.

Meals:
Breakfast:
Bowl of oats (teaspoon of honey) + cup of coffee and two sugars
Snack on carrots until teatime
Take muscle Science dynamic protein shake at around 11am
Salad + tuna + cup of pasta for lunch at 1:30pm
Afternoon – lots of water
After every workout – EVOX whey protein
Supper: Varies?? Try and get at least 2 different veggie types in.
Strawberries for desert.

Workout when I finally get home:
Monday
cycle for 2min flat out
jump right onto boxing bag for 5min.
Bench press (flat) 12, 10, 8, 6, 4
Leg raises
triceps pull downs 12, 10, 8, 6
leg raises
Dips ( as many as i can in 5 sets) don’t really keep track as it varies depending on energy left.
Leg raises
Peck deck 12, 10, 8, 6
Leg raises

Tuesday:
cycle for 2min flat out
jump right onto boxing bag for 5min.
25 Pull ups
25 squats
20 hanging knee raises
25 pull ups
The above workout makes me feel really tired and tightens up everything, and takes 30min+-
Based somewhat on the 300rep workout.

Wednesday:
cycle for 2min flat out
jump right onto boxing bag for 5min.
Dumbell press (decline) 12, 10, 8, 6, 4
Leg raises
Lat pull downs 12, 10, 8, 6
Leg raises
Dips ( as many as i can in 5 sets) don’t really keep track as it varies.
Leg raises
Peck deck 12, 10, 8, 6

Thursday:
cycle for 2min flat out
jump right onto boxing bag for 5min.
25 pull ups
25 clean and press with heaviest weight I can do 5 reps in.
25 hanging knees to elbows

25 squats with heaviest weight I can do 5 reps in

I have a love hate relationship with bulking. Its great going to gym and seeing your lifts increase on a bulk but I hate the fact that when bulking my face bloats a bit/gets a bit fatter. Knocks my confidence a bit having a cartman face going on. Cutting means less eating :( and loosing strenght but atleast I get my face back and feel more fit and chicks llike guys with a low BF.

There is no right/wrong time to cut or bulk. It depends on what look you wan't to go for. If you wan't to look like a beast, bulk till you feel you have enough muscle mass then cut. Personally if I were you I would cut till youre about 12-13% BF then bulk from there, I hate going above 15%. Get to a low BF and just do a slow bulk from there.

I have a bike but hate cycling and only ever feel it in my legs.
Running, don't get back early enough - maybe could run on weekends but where I stay, lots of traffic.
These are in succession with little 20sec breaks in between.
cycle for 2min flat out
jump right onto boxing bag for 5min.

2 minutes on a bike is borderline useless...whilst doing weights does help, 20 minutes cardio will go a long way...
the boxing session is not bad, but not long enough....
try skipping (100 reps) between exercises?

Skipping sounds good - since I'm running short of time during the week, I try to keep the workouts as intense and short as possible.
Suppose I could fit in skipping and boxing on one day, increase boxing session's during workouts.

I'm also scared I run out of energy before I compete the weight routine?
Suppliements Im on

Musclescience dynamic - carb and protein mix
Evox protein whey for after workouts.
Should I maybe have Evox protein in the morning and after workouts, then have the musclescience dynamic 2hrs before I workout?

i've also done up a lot of reading on muscle marinade....so far i have only found it at online retailers ans springbok pharmacy who delivers free in gauteng.

it seems like a good product, but using it late in the afternoon and night you might experiencing side-effects of not being able to sleep, execive drooling and feeling drugged for long after your work out. it is also not adivsed for beginners

as soon my NO pump runs out, will i be ordering this stuff to give it a shot

Well for pumps i use something called niox or plasmajet.

I must be honest i noticed next to no pump on it hey, just pure raw focused energy. Was just me the weights and time to burn :D. Pumps are different for everyone though. When i take niox within 10 minutes i can feel and notice my muscles are bigger haha. Insane stuff.

I bought it at a shop in randridge mall jhb. Ordering online is fine for me as i get it delivered to my door, i only bought it from a shop cause i wanted it badly :D over the weekend for my monday workout. You should never take a pre work out late in the afternoon. Will keep you up.

Hemps dude if you want that bottom belly fat gone you need to get serious dude, you cannot gym your arse off and then take down beer. Will not work. Get yourself a treadmill dude. I find for my stomach that is the best thing ever!!!!!! I sprint for 2 minutes and walk 2 minutes for 20 minutes increasing the speed from fast to flat out sprinting. Also the elliptical trainer is good. I find i only feel cycling in my legs. When i get to like 1:30 of my sprinting/fast run i can feel my entire lower abdomen burning.

killadoob, how long have you been using muscle marinade? also any strengh gains? i'm not reaching my goal of 100kg bench, i've actually dropped to 90kg x4 for last month or so :(
so i'm looking for something that will help me reach my goal

Well i only started this morning, but i felt like superman. I am not sure if it was the energy but i lifted more on most of the things i did than i ever have but that i would imagine that is par for the course. I thought N.O rage was good but goodness me this stuff is off the chart intense.

The energy is amazing and maybe you are lacking energy and focus to push more. I know this sounds like a dumb question for someone who can bench 90 but you are giving your body good rest right? Maybe you need to take a week off and let your body heal.

Yeah I've heard good things about muscle marinade.

Wizdumb, try altering your routine a little. Where exactly do you feel that you get stuck on bench...?
