I've got the VIE and I love it. Hasn't given me any trouble in about 8 months of daily use. It has 4 preset temps and 3 different settings (altering what those 4 temps are, for concentrate or flower). Can be a bit tricky to clean inside the tube as it's quite deep, but some alcohol and a cotton swab usually does the trick (after heating it up a bit first).
There are way better vaporizers out there...but at the price, it's still unrivaled in my opinion.
Something to consider with non certified products:
Vaping Is Suspected In Severe Lung Illnesses
U.S. health authorities from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are investigating the cases of 153 people, mostly teenagers and young adults, who developed several lung illnesses after using electronic cigarettes (Warning: source paywalled; alternative source). The Wall Street Journal reports:The cases have occurred in 16 states over the past two months, with many of the injured rushing to emergency rooms with difficulty breathing and other symptoms. No deaths have been reported, but some patients were so ill they spent days in intensive-care units on mechanical ventilators, the health authorities said. What exactly is causing the acute illnesses is unknown, though health experts suspect vaping plays a role. Vaping refers to the use of an electronic cigarette to inhale.
Many of the injured have told doctors or health authorities they were vaping products containing tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, a key ingredient in marijuana, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which is working with state health departments to identify the cause. At least some of the products were purchased from unlicensed sellers. "Investigators have not identified any specific product or compound that is linked to all cases," the CDC said in a statement. The Food and Drug Administration said it is testing e-cigarette products that the patients used. The health effects of vaping any product, even a well-known brand name, are under research and not yet fully known, tobacco researchers said.
Tried the VIE for the first time, what a disappointment? I think I packed the capsule too tight (the manual says pack full and tight in bold letters..)
Got virtually no vapor at all, was so hard to draw from it, had to suck it.. The thing also got really hot (have on on capsule red mode with all 4 bars to full)
So wasted a full capsule of Dbn poison with no effects - only half of that in a Dynavap is more than enough.
I'll give it another go with a lighter pack. Any VIE users have tricks on how to get the most out of it?

May be packed too tightly, four bars is pushing it for me and I get substantial but harsh vapour. You can also try doing a direct load (just place one of the screens in the chamber first) which does perform better than the pods and what I would stick to if I wasn't out and about. I generally keep mine on 3 bars on the red setting whether I'm doing pods or direct loads. The unit does tend to get hot as well.
Recently I've been feeling the pinch and have gone back to my private dealer who grows some of his own indoor and gets a variety of great GH and outdoor strains. I had a frank conversation with him about the competition from online vendors and he told me it is affecting his business. Saw him last night and he brought batch of product that is top notch quality. He is selling indoor grade for half the price of the online vendors and his GH is fantastic! He doesn't charge me for delivery coz we go way back and gives me a discount because I buy in bulk.
I think a lot of dealers are affected by online vendors and are probably going to take one of two routes here, either they will go out of business or they will step up their game like my dealer has. His main advantage is that I get to inspect the product before I buy it. And I have a personal relationship with him, so service is always friendly. He is setting himself up to open a shop once things go legal.
I think most people will prefer going to a brick and mortar store to buy their products because nothing beats buying in person.
PS - Please don't DM me for contact details, he isn't taking referrals right now.
