That would be ideal if I was growing a large amount of weed. I do not grow. I buy mid-grade dank for cooking purposes, so I have to decarb or extract. If was growing i'd be making my own Rosins and possibly hash.

I do have a grinder which is filled with kief/dust of various grades of weed which is a nice little addition to a joint. The **** hits though

How much do you spend on outdoor if you don't mind me asking? Guessing this is local and not over the web and that you're closer to town. The thought of buying weed again and actually spending money on weed until harvest does not bode well. :(

Whenever I get the bottom of a jar I also scrape that resin goodness into a joint along with the grinder's goo o_O:thumbsup:

I know someone who grows - so I usually buy about 300g, depend if anyone else wants to buy cheap weed the most i've paid was about R400. I tend to spend a lot more if he has hash or oils, but I have a few guys I visit regularly.

I do not want to really say where I buy, because I dont buy out door in town per se. I buy Indoor from a guy that lives in Vredehoek though.

That sounds like a massive bargain, I used to pay R1500 per kilo mid grade. Nah I won't ask on a forum for a dealer just trying to get an idea of what the current prices are, most people on here buy online and those prices are too ridiculous for what they're getting and they often seem to be disappointed.

R1500 for a kilo is a lot. Did you network or try and befriend your smous?

It is okay for the grade of the weed. I don't really complain.
I mean 80 - 100g of Moroccan Chocolate sets me about R700 but it lasts me for a while.
I used to be able to get various strains of Diesel but that line seems to have gotten arrested again.

Come to think of it, perhaps I should splurge on a few purchases and keep the seeds to try and start a grow.

Sounds like a much better selection than what we have here in the Northern Suburbs which is why I grow and trade my own. This is the first year I got a somewhat decent selection of genetics including some clones from Mowgs' grow. This year I got all my favourites from over the years Durban Poison, Girl Scout Cookies, OG Kush, Special Skunk, White Russian, Guerilla Glue, Psychedelic and Sensi Star as well as four CBD plants, I also got six old school landrace Swazi plants and ten of my own line. Then I also got a few seeds that came up from last year's harvest including this guy.

That is quite a selection. Ah how is your Swazi? I am a sucker for a good Swaz as that was the first bud i smoked.
I'd be super keen on that Guerilla Glue and White Russian. I better get growing!
 
Anyone has any recommendation how I can get bud in PTA?via PM. I’m here for a week longer than planned and would love to get my hands on some bud. Local store are closed it seems

I love Swazi, this particular Swazi is from Pig's Peak from before all this newer genetics came in and took over, sixteen plus weeks of flowering down to my last few original seeds. The Guerilla Glue is not a big yielder and the plant definitely looks weird structurally. White Russian is just white widow mixed with something I think AK47. Hit me up in five months for some Swazi.

Somehow missed this part. That unfortunately is the Northern Suburbs for you no discount. That is for local Swazi by the way. I prefer the weed out of the Southern Subs, used to get some nice stuff from Observatory and Woodstock but alas a long time ago.

Funny enough, I live out in the North as well. But I would network around at house parties I used to go to. I had a habit of getting rid of middle men as soon as I could. I am also really picky about who I buy from.

But as of late the competition between growers has been causing some difficulty in getting some of the niche strains, and growers no longer seem to experiment the way they used to. I used to know a guy that used to sell me 1g of White Widow that was completely seedless and horrendously potent, since laws regarding weed has laxed a bit he has switched back to growing both male and female plants as means to keep his costs down, but I mean thats business.

And keeping a plant female isn't exactly rocket science. You can pull the male sex organs from plants during early budding etc etc. Seeing as I have some more time, like i said. I'll give it a go.

Hope you give growing another shot, there is nothing like smoking good organic weed you've grown yourself. :)

Agree on the middle men, I knew a guy in Bellville which was my connection into many different things from shrooms to cactus to cannabis clones from a wide variety of growers in the Cape but once you lose access you're screwed.

I was hoping that since the laws are so lax now that one would be getting a wider variety for cheaper but it doesn't seem to be the case yet.

This is hopefully the last year in which I spend any more money on cannabis, I just need a greenhouse and clone room and I'm done.

I started with Alien Blue and that was pretty potent initially until tolerance developed.
