If you feed nutrients an EC meter will be beneficial as well. Cheap PH meters are about R400 on average.

If you aren't buying nutrients then look if you can get chicken/bird manure which is high in P, you need to experiment as it's very strong so mix with lots of water.

Yeah, HowzitBud ultimately decided against replacing it. This was because I decided to open up the disposable device only AFTER the battery died prematurely and after their support blamed the dead battery on me for not using the device fast enough. I only opened it up because at that time I was convinced that all other avenues had been explored. I was hoping it was simply a loose connection to the battery that could be repaired. After doing this they came back to me and mentioned the possibility of helping me in some way.

I then disclosed that I had opened the device (because they wanted the current device back). I guess they saw their loophole and used it. And before someone lectures me on keeping my mouth shut about opening it, I'm just not that type of person. This is also not me trying to reframe the original story. I have the chat logs to prove it. In my opinion, I would advise against buying from HowzitBud. YMMV.

UPDATE: HowzitBud has sorted this out. It took a little while due to the lockdown but they went the extra mile here.

One last question! Which nutrients / mixes would recommend that aren't chicken **** / manure. I live in a smallish apartment block and I really don't want to deal with that smell + all the flies

The manure should be dry so no flies, smell. Agrimark sells a processed pellet one which might be better. I just use nutrimix at the hydroponic store, you might have a look at the bloom packet, it contains P + K only.

has anyone tried 420s THC drops or capsules? I'm looking into whether I could cut vaping/smoking and still maintain a mild high all day.
 
So, After my terrible experience with The Green Haven I am going to give Ganjie a shot since everyone seems to only have good words about them.

Will let you all know how my experience with them is

A question in the meantime - what’s your favourite smoke (Jay, bong etc) and beverage combo?

Mines a Joint and strong coffee in the morning☕️

I notice capsules are cheaper with Cannasutra. Anyone had experience with ordering with them, or has tried their capsules? I think I'm about to pull the trigger and try their THC oil capsules.

Not really a coffee person but I can imagine that's really comfy. I usually drink water while I'm vaping then have lemonade with my munchies meal.
 
I only now, after searching the forum for "HowzitBud" again, noticed @undeadpool's posts about his recent bad experience there so I'm only blaming myself here, but fair warning to others:

I ordered stuff for R1,090, incl. standard (not express) delivery and chose the PayPal option.

I was charged US$68.13 / R1,251.74 by PayPal.

When I queried it with @howzitbudcare they said it "must be the exchange rate", "the exchange rate is very high" and "must be PayPal surcharges."

I don't think they understand how exchange rates work? Or maybe I don't? Sure, there are PP transaction charges but R161 extra? Sounds implausible.

Yeah I regularly buy from them. They have normal and strong versions available in their oil.
