With so many strains out there , which i personally didn't know existed, can we maybe get a top 10 from the veterans.
Also what strain is best for what activity.

All i know at the moment is the difference between sativa and indica

So it seems like I managed to misunderstand the tracking information even further and there wasn't actually any delivery attempt yesterday.

I then had the impression that the tracking showed a failed delivery at 9:22 this morning. By this point I decided I needed someone else to explain what was going on and called Time Freight. After 40 minutes of being told to call their offices in different cities (and being hung up on while I waited for customer support to answer at those office), I finally got someone who explained to me that there have yet to be any delivery attempts and the driver only picked up the package at 9:22.

My experience with courier services is usually that packages get delivered the same day as they're collected by the driver, and it turned out this driver collected my package in a centre less than 10 minutes' drive from me! So I sat at home all day with my phone in front of me and even left the front door open so I'd hear if anyone tried to make the delivery without phoning. No dice.

It simply doesn't work for me to make an order on the weekend, pay R150 for delivery and not receive the order by the following weekend when I'd hoped to be using it. But hey, the main point of this exercise is to establish what to expect from these services and - for now, at least - I'll be sticking to the old-fashioned way of doing things.

I had the same thing happened to me where they say on the tracking info they will deliver on that day only to see the date changed later the afternoon to the next day.

I called them and the lady said there were no delivery attempt so I just decided to rather go and pick it up myself.

Time Freight is crap for Cape Town deliveries it seems. I also have issues with them.

I bought a SSD from Flash gear, he used Courier Guy, and it arrived the next day for the same price. Also from JHB.

After paying R150 for delivery it's absurd that I should have to drive out to Century City to pick up my package on top of that.

Look at this nonsense!

I WAS HOME ALL DAY WITH MY DOOR OPEN SO I WOULD HEAR THEM. Did these guys seriously attempt to deliver this package after 7 at night just minutes after I'd closed my door? When I phoned them earlier in the day I very specifically told the operator that my complex doesn't have an intercom system and I would need them to phone me when they get here and she said she would put a note on a system to phone me. My complex has as sign up that says "Please phone tenants for access".

No dont get me wrong I was in the area so decided to rather pick it up myself as I am out of the country most days and my wife works full time so no one would have been able to receive the package.

I think we should make a suggestion to these guys regarding which courier company works best or provides the best service.

Not sure if one is allowed to share links here, but I run a South Africa Cannabis Growers Group on flakebook; The South African Cannabis Growers Club 8500+ members - www.facebook.com/groups/cannaclubsa/ Banned from fb for 30days, ends 5th Dec, so I can only accept new member requests then, currently 720 pending members. If anyone here would like to ask anything about Cannabis in South Africa I'd be happy to try and answer them. Except how to get a licence, for that you need to download the forms here https://medicalcannabis.co.za/medical-cannabis-application-form/ you will need to download/read and understand the guidelines. You will also need a Master Site plan. IMO the companies/brands which will last will be the ones who are legal, and don't try to cheat SARS with ewallet pin numbers etc.

I see cannasutra now offers Postnet to Postnet delivery for those who would like to pick up their parcels at their own time.
