Just a few random thoughts. First off you need to realize that to make any oil you are going to need a lot of cannabis. Looking at the local SA market one can only extrapolate that everyone is using local Swazi to make oil as it is the only cannabis available in the needed quantities and at a low price. Due to the variety you will almost never get the same exact oil again.

On the other hand you get some growers that work with proper CBD genetics and just grow clones of one plant to produce consistent CBD oil. Lots of crosses of Charlotte's Web etc but like you mentioned new research shows you need a combination of CBD and THC and most probably some of the other compounds we haven't yet studied.

Top of the line would be imported Canadian or Swiss CBD oil for real medicinal need.
Thanks @krieg, not really looking to make oils, to much of a mission. Will look for the Canadian or Swiss stuff, but sounds like it's gonna be pricey.

Trichoma had a strain called Green Medkit that was very low in THC and high in CBD.
Thanks @Chemogen, will look for that.

Just curious on a variety that has at least a non negligible CBD content that won't knock us back too hard, nothing wrong with a bit of mellow, but I don't want to spend a couple hundred (+delivery) to get something that's too dank for us.

Has anybody perhaps reviewed any of the Cannasutra products?

Namely the difference between the Indica and Sativa oils?

And the difference between the strong indica/sativa biscuits and the less strong alternative?

after seeing this thread I tried ordering some oil-based products from cannasutra.co.za, I did so, and I was not disappointed, I used the fast pay portal did an instant EFT to make the payment at 8 pm on Thursday night, the very next morning at about 9:30 am, I received my package. Really unexpected, for such a swift process, and I must say, myself and a few family members are happy with the product, we ordered capsules as well as oils and it has already started to prove beneficial to those of us using the stuff.
I have tried both their Sativa and Indica oil. The Indica oil is definitely stronger than the Sativa one although I enjoyed the sativa one more.

I only tried the regular strength cookies which was enough for me
I only needed 1 cookie for a good high. So the stronger version will be pointless for me. Will be worth a try for the high tolerance users.

Anyone try an edibles from a source where they actually inform which strain is used to produce it?

Yeah their delivery is almost always next day. Only had one delay when I ordered on a Thursday and received my parcel the following Monday. Still not bad though.

Day 1 - Order & Pay
Day 2 - Order Dispatched
Day 3 - Order Arrives

All my orders to Durban have been like that.

Damn, my friends and I are having bad luck then. I ordered on the weekend, paid by Tuesday and today on Thursday I've got the waybill but I don't think that the order has shipped yet. I'm not sure it'll get here by the weekend like I'd hoped. A friend of mine ordered last week and still hasn't got his order. Maybe they're getting too many orders to deal with quickly.

Ja, I tried that as soon as I got the waybill number and it doesn't seem to be reflecting on the system yet. I know it's standard for the updates to take a while to reflect, so I'm not especially bothered. Was just wondering if this is normal and I can fully appreciate that they've probably been swamped with orders.
