Feeling so much better to know that I got scammed and that the real Trichoma are actually still around. I started off messaging the bot, but messaged "Alex" to check if the bot was running. No surprises then that he told me it wasn't functioning perfectly and I should speak to him directly.

In fairness to Trichoma, I will update my post above.

As for "Alex", well let's just say he will be in my prayers every night, and I will be praying he gets cat AIDS, chronic explosive diarrhoea and a perpetual herpes infection. Also, I am glad to see he last scammed someone over a month ago.

A 'friend' recommends using a proper dab rig for the full experience - but if you just want to spice up a normal smoke, roll the J first, and then place a blob of concentrate at the end of the J which you light. Use a warm knife, or something metallic and pointy, to ease the concentrate over the top third of the J. Once you light it, the concentrate will gradually move downwards as you smoke.

Trying to roll it with the stuff inside the paper will make it very messy, and nearly impossible to pack and smoke.

You could also pack a bowl in a bong, and then place a blob at the top of the cone (you can warm it with a lighter to make it spread over the bowl) - but be warned, you will probably cough your lungs out.

Everything checks out and seems legit, even the file name of the menu had yesterday's date.

He explains I have to make payment to secure delivery. I transfer R1600 to him after getting onto Luno, and he gives me a 'reference number'. He tells me to send my location, and that delivery will happen at 20:45 last night. I am in Gauteng and he explained to me that "for this month only" deliveries would happen on the weekend. I had suggested waiting for a weekday, and the guy assured me delivery would happen on Sunday.

At about 18:00 I opened Telegram, and the guy had deleted my whole chat. He has also blocked me on Telegram (when I check from my phone it says "last seen a long time ago" and his Profile Pic is gone - if I check his username from the other half's phone he was seen "not long ago" and the profile pic is still there.)

Obviously no delivery arrived last night, and my messages to him are going undelivered

I have the wallet address, which he claimed was the "Trichoma store wallet" address. I have checked the transactions (only once I realised I got ripped off) and the previous deposit to that address took place over a month ago (2019-05-06)

The money I sent to the address has been moved (no real surprise there).

So basically one of two things happened:

1) Someone has taken over the Trichoma account and is committing fraud with no intention of making deliveries; or
2)Trichoma and/or Alex has gone rogue and is stealing money by pretending to take orders

Be careful with your money, there are a ton of f$%#wits out there! It's not my first time getting burnt by shady players in this market (it comes with the turf unfortunately) but it still leaves one feeling pissed off.

Also, if doing business on Telegram, screenshot everything - I knew chats could be deleted by the person on the other side, but I didn't expect this guy to do this.

Would love to hear your experiences, or if anyone has any updates on Trichoma - I did try searching this thread for any bad stories, but couldn't find anything.

TL;DR: Don't buy from Trichoma, you will lose your money. If using Telegram for business, screenshot EVERYTHING!

EDIT & UPDATE: Guys the REAL Trichoma are still around - I got burnt by a conman. Please don't boycott the real Trichoma, but make DAMN SURE you are dealing with the correct entity on Telegram. If you are in doubt, check with people on the forum first!

Crap Dude! So sorry to hear about that! This day in age R1600 for me is a substantial amount to lose. I only order from my suppliers I trust and have built up a relationship with. I have also only heard good things about Trichoma. Last week I also got some dodgy messages from a Dude that claimed to know one of my buds and was selling some nice looking dank but I don't trust easily and told him to go get lost.

I've actually bought this a while back , It's pretty neat and small folds in and has a 10 sec warmer . Not gonna knock you out or smoke out the neighbour hood but for medical use it gets the job done . Even dropped it a few times by accident, almost had a mini heart attack when it hit the ground but surprisingly this puppy stayed intact .

This has happened to soooo many of our clients. Please be sure to use the correct link. We have tried everything in our power to try and stop this “Alexander”
