Decided to go with Elixir Extracts. Budget a bit tight. Super pleased with the bud and service. Placed the order on Tuesday, and received it Wednesday. Ordered a combo, and I must say, the bud does taste different between the different strains. Nugs are fat and dense. Would not know if the strains are what they say it is, but the weed is good. Smooth smoke, and very tasty. Instant and pleasant high. R500 for 15g is a damn good price, seeing that I had to pay like ****ing R100 for taxi rank grass. I weighed it and it works out exactly 15g. Also got a ricekrispy sweet, which I am about to try now.

Good for you. Sticking to current supplier though. Once bitten, twice shy. It was the same with Dr G when they thought a mooshy mess passes off as cookies. Not going back there.

GO UBERZOL! Delivery received, colour me impressed!

First impressions:

Delivery: 10/10 - Got an sms with a link to see where the driver is and had a chat with the driver - this is next level ****! It doesn’t get any better.

Packaging: Discreet, 1 gram bankies clearly labeled.
20200522_122118.jpg20200522_122221.jpg

Smell & touch: they’re all pretty dry unfortunately, but not drier than any of the other vendors I’ve tried. The service has just launched and they could have been sitting on stock for a while so I’m sure this will only improve.

Trichomes: much better than 420M on the greenhouse / outdoor - you can judge for yourself by the pics:

Double Dream, R180.00, INDOOR AAA
20200522_122647.jpg

Trainwreck, ZAR 95.00, Greenhouse
20200522_122758.jpg

Blue Cheese, ZAR 95.00, Greenhouse
20200522_122920.jpg
Skunk #1, R50.00, PREMIUM OUTDOOR
20200522_123113.jpg
Charlotte's Angel (high CBD), R70.00, PREMIUM OUTDOOR
20200522_123205.jpg

Value: I haven’t tried them yet, but so far on looks alone the greenhouse / outdoor is great value. The indoor nugs are dense, awesome trich’s but not as fresh or dank as some indoor I’ve had from the Monkeys (but as mentioned, we’re in a lockdown, this will most likely improve) plus cheaper delivery than most.

Great first effort for a newly launched Co. and great news for us the consumers - the more quality suppliers the merrier!!

Well done Uberzol and thanks @keagas for the sample!! Can’t wait to try it

Thank you very much for the kind words @Anton123!

We are working hard to make our express service available in other parts of the country ASAP and we will have an app available to download for our Durban customers soon.

Freshness of bud will definitely improve after lockdown as well as our selection of goods. We have a lot of new products we are working on!

@mister dont worry, I assure you that was the retail weed. Feel free to order any time and test us out ;)

**Indoor currently on special at R180 per gram and R480 for 3 grams of AAAA**

Many people in this thread had parcels confiscated before and nothing ever happened to the buyer or seller.

I strongly suspect that some of those confiscations were just sellers telling porkies. No reason to suspect that with HV, though.

Yeah I did let her know. And she said she was gonna make a plan to replace. But to be honest I'm a bit rattled.
My thinking is also that they would rather go to the source than the end user...
I wouldn't stress as other posters mentioned. Its hardly even a noteworthy amount, I just hope HV sort you with a new one or a refund.

On a side note, was it 420m with that new confiscation policy?

Yeah I hope she does make a plan... I was looking forward to some Apex and some sour diesel. Anyway., I should be receiving my order from Uber order Monday, of that doesn't get condiscao as well lol...

Noice! I order 5g of that blue cheese. Looks pretty decent...

Uberzol for the win!! Just got my order... On a Saturday nogal.... Super stoked. Busy having some cheese through my solo2 vape. Tastes cheesy . Youve definitely got me as a customer... Keep up the awesome service...

So, someone I know tells me they saw a plant in a park across the road from them.
So, I'm like, "Hey man, go take it out and put it in a pot for me."
(This person is blessed with extremely green fingers.)
So, I get the plant and it's tiny, about 30cm, maybe 40cm?

It's in bad shape, but I see it has flowers. I touch the top one and it just comes off in my hand. Already dry -but sticky.

Last night, I'm like, "Lets see what you got, little guy."
So I pick all the heads, put 'em through a sieve, pop a tiny bit in the vape and let rip.
After only 2 drags, I'm like, "Whoa, calm down there, fellar, I feel you coming on. Let's take one more for good measure."
After that, I go and make some coffee. By the time I was done and sat in front of the tv (10 mins later) I was so fckin' stoned!
That's pretty much where I sat, glued to the lazy boy, for the next 3.5 hours
I don't know what that was...but it was good.
I think this little plant and I are going to be good buds

I'm looking for Kush around the Eastrand , anybody here who is distributing or can recommend a seller please contact me.

I recently went through a similar experience except that I moved into a new place and found a plant in a flower pot in the backyard some weeks after moving in.
Guess the previous tenants either forgot to remove it or just decided to bless me with the opportunity to give tending a grow a chance.

Nonetheless, got started and it’s both amazing and frustrating how invested you can become in trying to get the best out of the plant once you get into it. I honestly underestimated my emotional investment in the plant as I felt so devastated when I first found and had to deal with spider mites, and secondly with white powder mold (lost a few good nuggets to this before I could get it contained...may they rest in peace).

Nonetheless, having trimmed it and now curing it, it’s really changed my view on the stuff I get from dealers. Like, my stuff is outdoor but the colours are quite bright and vibrant.
I know the amber trichomes make it more “brown” but why they heck does so much retail stuff honestly look like dog turd?!
Can someone enlighten me on how it goes from looking so beautiful on the plant to looking the way it does when it gets to me? Is it just greed to push out volumes or what?

As a newbie to growing, who got decent looking nugs, I now feel so betrayed by dealers who solely rank their herb by how it was grown.
I think a new rating method should be introduced as my outdoor honestly puts some greenhouse/indoor I’ve had to shame both in potency and looks. So far, Trichoma arguably had the most transparent rating system.

Pics below.
First “golden” nugget in indoor I have.
The more vibrant green nuggets are my homegrown. Experimented with trimming variations so it’s not the most dense or cleanest trimmed by hey, it was my first time, allow me.
Last pic is the turds...no further comment.

Any constructive criticism on my nuggets is appreciated. Might just try another plant sometime later so any tips would help.
Stay safe!

Because you put care and emotions into your grow whereas the things you buy are mostly grown in bulk, no curing and no proper drying techniques. This is obviously not everyone but the majority does this.

Filled with seeds, no curing etc. So basically the same as brick weed.

It really is sad when people solely prioritise quantity over quality. If I had more space I’d strongly consider growing beginner boutique stuff. If the market’s consistency doesn’t improve, maybe next year ;-)

Thanks for the compliment in there; yes, I’m taking it as one even if you didn’t intend it to be :-D

You mind posting your setup in the grow thread?
