The Division

Same here. I am not sure where Division will go. I have done all side-missions, picked up all intel and done all missions and I have done almost all the Uplay achievements (killing 20 rogues is going to be tough - when I ran across them I get ganked and I am not going to camp out in DZ01 to gank Acid0 for the achievement ).

All my gear is high-end (far from perfect statroll though) and I only miss a decent high-end marskman and shotgun. The mods need a ton of work, but that is just luck of the game (either loot drops, crafting or vendors). I guess once I am at DZ50 I will probably be bored with Division. The DZ is not appealing for me as a PVP style game - the balance of players is just not right and the game likes variety in PVP styles - it is all about farming gear or ganking low-level players.

Over the weekend I watched the below and I am glad that I am not on PC - it must be extremely soul-crushing for DZ players on PC when you have this:

I seriously cant see why you want to cheat.
Seriously you buy the game for X amount and then want to cheat.
I always see it that you are so crap at playing you NEED to cheat to get somewhere.

But I guess it is this culture of instant gratification where you dont need to work for anything just hack it with some one else's tool (that you are too stupid to create to start with) and go kill people.

Do you actually feel that you accomplished when you kill another player?
Anyway that is just my side, I would rather suck and try to improve myself than go out and cheat.

Added you, have you got a mic? I'll be online eventually this evening

Yes I do, have not tested it yet but it is a Dre Solo HD and I see it is a official supported headset mic for the PS4

Will check this out at home tonight.

It's still the same incremental XP requirements, in the 40s you'll need 30k per level. Total from 1 to 50 is something like 650k XP

If I die to DZ mobs, that's fine take levels off my progress, but when players can bait and harass you (walking in front of your fire, diving into your grenades in between the enemies) I get a very sour taste in my mouth and my motivation ends

IMO Rogues need the XP penalty, they want to chance their luck by rolling the dice on a player's loot, they must be the ones losing levels of XP

I will eventually complete the DZR50 grind. Leveling another character is just higher than the grind on my priority list

I would say then that I'm fortunate. I have not had anyone intentionally trying to attract my fire. I think everyone has been more focused on trying to get to 50.

I have been baited though, and this was my stupidity. It seems there is a distinct delay in cancelling the animation when attaching your bag to the extraction rope. I had called in an extraction, to be met by 3 non-hostiles. It looked like they kept trying to surround me, so I kept running back, making sure I had decent escape options. Eventually the heli arrived and dropped the rope. They had disengaged and were waiting around the rope, so I had moved back in. 2 ran up to the rope, so I did too. In my attempt to get out of the extraction ASAP, I hit F to start loading my bag. Heard the one guy switch to a grenade. I tried rolling away, but alas, the animation kept playing. I did manage to catch and kill 2 of them though.

Marksman Rifle options:

Police MK220 (TechWing)

Tenebrae (DZ06 Vendor)

I'd say rather find the vendor (either the Safehouse on the left in DZ03 or the one in DZ06 - I forget) that sells the BP for the Custom M44. However you'll need to be DZR 50 for any High End BP :(

Yeah then you're lucky :p I always run into bored rank 70+ groups

The guns I listed are the only available High End MMR Blueprints anyway :o If I want to upgrade my M1A, I'd have to pray to RNGesus

13/14 hours away!

As announced on Twitter, there will be a special stream on Twitch that will finally reveal what the first big update "Incursions" is all about.

The Special Report will start 31/03/16 at 8pm CET / 2pm EDT / 11am PDT

Oh crype, that reminds me I still have to purchase the season pass.

Don't stress!

Incursions will not require the Season Pass

From how I understand, we'll get one Incursion in April, and another Incursion [-]after Expansion 1[/-] a month later!

Big image of the road map

As per the image, the Season Pass will only be required in June ;)

I'm really really hoping that Incursions will require players to build into each role (dedicated healer, dedicated tank, dedicated support, dedicated dps).

The dev teams are apparently struggling to complete the Incursion and once at least one team can sufficiently beat it, it will be released to us

That is my understanding also two free and three paid.

But last time I looked it was actually cheaper to get the base game for R925 and buy the season pass on Playstation store for R565, it came out a bit cheaper than the gold edition.

But I still need to buy it to actually have it ready when the add on's roll out.

Watched that clip Magicdude linked. I have seen a few of those almost since the Betas.
I was chatting to a friend about that last night, about how we were told there is Anti-cheat in place, but really question if it's there or how it's applied.

Again, I seem to be fortunate. The first "hack" that I saw was probably last night, where a guy was walking at the speed people run at. I don't know whether that was a hack or just a glitch on my side.

I don't know if you guys have already seen it, but in the far bottom-right corner of the map (basically the bottom border), you can see the incursion...

Two things caught my eye.
1) it lists a min gear level - I'd guess gear levels are coming in the same update
2) it lists a "set item" as the reward. That has piqued my interest... if we now have sets to collect ala D3, I'll be a happy chappy.

How is the endgame so far? I'm holding off until I know there is actually one.

1. Gear Score was announced prior to the launch, this will be similar to Light Levels from Destiny/Item Level from WoW

2. All that was mentioned on the Tuesday's State of the Game address was the following;

Gear Sets
They will be available after the Incursions update and are said to provide some very cool stats.

I'm anticipating Gear Sets will further diversify Agents

Tank set example

2 piece bonus - Adds 20% exotic resistance
3 piece bonus - Applies the Critical Save Talent (using a medkit while at low health grants 40% damage resistance for 10sec)
4 piece bonus - Gain 0.25 Armor per 1 stamina (500 armor per 2000 stamina stat)

I doubt we'll see full 6 piece armor sets because HE gear looks like it will work very well in filler slots

Agent1 loadout

Mask: Set
Kneepads: Set
Gloves: Set
Backpack: HE with 'All healing grants Overheal' talent
Chest: HE with '45% additional armor while in cover' talent
Holster: Set

Agent2 loadout

Mask: HE with 'Heal 2% during status effects'
Kneepads: HE with 'Item find' talent
Gloves: Set
Backpack: Set
Chest: Set
Holster: Set

Or my general favourite, mix sets for bonuses :)

I must've missed the gear score bit earlier. The first I really caught wind of it was when the incursion first showed up on the map.

Overall I think the more ways they give a person to be different, the more chance the game has of really succeeding. In line with allowing people to be different, I really hope they add clothing that ACTUALLY diversifies looks... not variants of almost the skin.

I run without a jacket showing, mainly because I like the look of the armour (which probably has more variety in looks than jackets anyways), but I would start wearing one again if there was a decent variety from jackets to trench coats.

So I was shopping last night at every safehouse and start matching items that worked with each other and must say I have a mixed bag of green, blue and purple but it has improved my stats very well.

So one and half more levels and then it is off to the DZ for me :)

I'm level 15 and go to the DZ, think I'm level 13/14 DZ and have about a 1000 DZ bucks. Randomly stumbled on some bodies and looted them.

This is probably the best way to get ahead in the DZ. Level up and do the NPC stuff, but also spend some time in the DZ. That way its not 50 DZ levels you're looking for when you reach 30.

I assume you avoid any gun battles at that level you are now because they are not easy on the gear and weapons you have currently I assume

Any PC "Division" players... you welcome to add me; medicnick83
I expect to have my PS4 copy tomorrow - then PS4 players can add me there too on medicnick83 (Probably start the game all over again.)

Remember, the DZ scales you in brackets. So as long as you go in on the higher end of that bracket (I think each one was 4 or 5 levels), you generally are fine in there. You don't go up against level 30's.
