The Division

I assume you avoid any gun battles at that level you are now because they are not easy on the gear and weapons you have currently I assume
I stick to dz1 and I avoid other players or help non rogues out... Every now and then I kill an ou at the extraction point. Feel bad about it, but only for a little while.

Any PC "Division" players... you welcome to add me; medicnick83
I expect to have my PS4 copy tomorrow - then PS4 players can add me there too on medicnick83 (Probably start the game all over again.)

Will do. Just started about 2 hours ago getting to grips with the control layout. Been fun so far.

I will add you guys, and send friend requests.

We need to team up eventually some nights I think, I am normally on after 8 in the evenings, weekends are random times unfortunately

Ok I have send you guys requests.
Razedinblack what is your PSN id?

Izzzy, Magic and Occulate I have send you guys requests

Razed_In_Black.

Only on level 3 now :D

I hope they are not going down the Bungie/Destiny road where you have to jump through hoops to get a party together in order to do a raid/strike, but it is starting to read like a Destiny makeover:
Need a good group, need good synergy, might be hard with randoms.

If you fail, you start from the beginning. No word on if this also means if you wipe, this counts as a fail.

Some challenge modes are incredibly tough with the wrong team composition (Russian Consulate - shotgun runner - OMW). Played last night and managed to move from DZ40 to DZ45 and hope to get to DZ50 by the weekend. I hope that Division does not turn into the same "elitist" matchmaking as Destiny (i.e. "Your Grimoire score is too low / you don't have weapon X / you are not that class) and does not introduce ridiculous jumping puzzles.

BTW: What is it with PS4 players and their microphones being absolute crap (buzzing/humming)? I can not understand that people have a 6K console, a 1K game and can not afford a proper headset (or worse, you can hear half the household including screaming babies in the background). FWIW: Muting a player on PS4 does not seem to work, had it yesterday where I eventually had to kick a player as he somehow managed to unmute himself.

I read somewhere that Gear Score will display after you hit level 30 (where it says level 30 on your screen and when you look at other players' levels - this will be changed to display the player's Gear Score)

As seen if you hover over the Incursions Misison, the Gear Score required to matchmake will be 150

From the stream, there will apparently be puzzles! But we can't jump, thank god :p

In my experience buzzing/humming mics are 90% of the time are almost always thanks to the infamous Apple Iphone Earphones

@MagicDude4Eva; when you say you moved from DZ40 to DZ45 - how many hours did you play to move up 5 levels?

You must be lucky because when I play with friends, we struggle - we don't avoid rogues etc so I'm still stuck on DZ38 I think because as soon as I hit 39, I drop again - yesterday afternoon, was so bad, I spent all day on DZ37 because of the F'ing rogues.

I am just VERY VERY VERY good (hahaha - not). I would think it was about 5-6 hours and it ran in a full group and we did mostly DZ05 and DZ06. I only had two cases where we ran into rogues but in both cases we managed to kill them. In all other cases teams went accidentally rogue (and then everyone does jumping jacks - hahaha). My built is not very good - I have all high-end weapons and gear with not a great stat-roll at the moment. My health is 78K and I am running:
- Some high-end AK47 - it has 140K DPS
- Midas (secondary, I have both talents activated and extra crit-chance/damage on mods) - it has 120K DPS
- Damascus (pistol - only use it when I am out of ammo - has a nice bleed effect)

I have my talents fully upgraded and in DZ I run support station with life support, sticky bomb with flashbang and as master survivor link (I have no clue why I don't use recovery link and should really change it). Yesterday I had about 4 Midas and another good 4-6 high-end drop - in some cases we just walked to The Pit or an extraction point and there was HE-loot (possibly from other players being killed?). I really just want to get to DZ50 to get Tenebrae (I use a M1A with 20 mag and although I have a 15x scope, I just can't get any decent headshots in)

Is it just me or is this game chowing bandwidth?

Anyway I am going to finish SP tonight and then its off to the DZ for me :)

Most of you are way to far ahead to join up it seems so I will need to put more time in to catch up.

I will need to get my Logitech out of storage as it seems the dre headset works and then dont work.

Man, I only started with Division last night, it is really quite an enjoyable game.
Looking forward to spending my weekend on it.

If you like chasing for better equipment you will love this game.

I still enjoy it a lot and just trying level up in SP to go have fun in the DZ

I just spend an hour on it yesterday evening, only did the 1st 2 side missions and the 1st main mission so far.
I did quite enjoy it, up until I got errored and kicked during the cutscene after the 1st main mission, so I will need to replay that damn mission again today.

I have looked at the "LP" vid by TB and Angry Joe, but I am having more fun with it that I initially thought I would.

Just wait for the "yay I'm 30, now what" feeling to hit :D

I was meaning for this next part to be a PSN Message last night but carrying unfocused people through Consulate isn't pleasant

Do you still have Story missions to complete, if so which ones?
Are there any safe houses you have not yet discovered?
Any side quests you need a hand with?

If I can get you up to 30 this evening (or weekend if tonight doesn't go as planned), I can carry you through a good number of General Assembly <Hard> runs for 6-8 purples each run and at least get you a couple Phoenix Credits in the process ;)

Survivor link is the best in the DZ (as it has the longest duration and skyrockets your effective health through the roof for 15sec)

Recovery link is awesome for those clutch revives but you'll end up saving it for those occasions instead of maximizing it's uptime

I'm so new at this I don't even know what you talking about! :erm:
