The Division

Yeah, I figured that out. Think I was removing a "+xp" skill, hoping to get a god scavenge bonus number, and it didn't give me an option at all. And now I see I can only reroll that stat, and everything else on that item is hard locked.

I forgot to add you when I launched UPlay.... sorry, add me if you're on before me

With the recalibration, just remember that it is also chance based. If you see 3 or 4 criteria, it can roll the same stat 3 times or give you 3 different ones... kinda luck of the draw.

That's the most frustrating part - re-rolling HE at 30 credits a roll and then getting the same 5 criteria (out of 8 I think) is infuriating. Spend another 200 credits last night to go nowhere on a roll. I am starting to think I might be luckier farming matts and then just crafting.

What would be the best option,
Either run DZ until you get your level high enough to go further in with ease or do the Last Batallion run over and over
or a bit of both every play?
For harvesting gear and weapons?

IMHO: I play the game... I play with friends and I have fun - whatever comes (gear etc) is a bonus.

I play to relax. So I normally do the daily hard missions (takes about 10-15min each), then possibly a challenge mission (during the week normally Lincoln Tunnel as it is quite quick) - those 3 give me than 60 credits (15 for each daily and 30 for challenge). I do then 4-5 extractions in the DZ. Most evenings in those 2-3 hours I will have at least 1 HE. But the gear-/matt-farming is not my objective. I don't even care if I drop my loot in the DZ - I think I have most of the gear.

Personally, I say get to 30, finish the main story (whichever comes first) finish your BoO, and then start doing daily challenges and DZ. I just found I got items much faster that way.

I have also seen some people say get to 29, and then live in the Dark Zone until you reach DZ 50. And then get your 30. Which I get because getting to DZ 50 while 29 will be easier as there are no OP 30's that will be there to grief you. My only concern would be, if you go that route, and then hit Normal 30 straight away, you wouldn't of farmed up any Phoenix credits which to use at the high level DZ dealers anyways.

I agree with what everyone else has said. Don't make this soley about farming (although that is some of the purpose), or you may find you lose interest in what is otherwise enjoyable just to "do stuff". If you enjoy farming though, and don't mind repeating one mission, I'd go the LMB route. You only want DZ rank to buy HE BPs.

However if you're looking for more 'reliable' ways of getting gear, running Challenge mode is (for me) a Lot of fun, a challenge and guarantees a HE drop. These look kindof fixed though.

Phoenix credits are shared across your characters ;)

Id personally find a partner and run General Assembly (UN Building) and do the following video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F44sDzaUiT4

Its probably the best thing to do now after all the fixes to get gear/crafting materials and its super easy.

Once you have the planning down, the runs are fast.

This gives the most phoenix credits aswell i think, 1-3 per boss and 3 bosses in there and lets say 8 minutes per run and averaging PC out at 2 per boss. thats 6 every 8 minutes, Thats 42 every hour.

Also dark zone farming is pointless in terms of looking for gear in my opinion, the dark zone gear wise is to literally get to 50 darkzone rank to buy chest and glove blueprints, after that its just fun!

Once your geared, running Lexington Event center can be done in 8ish minutes if your efficient.

PS: I Understand its not just about farming, but if anyone is like me, i like being geared enough to compete and not have to stress when incursions come out :)

So I'm watching the State of the Game;

Blueprints are being cycled - BoO Blueprints will be moved out, current Dark Zone Blueprints go in their place at the BoO (no longer requiring the DivTech it currently needs). Naturally, that means new blueprints to get!

Dark Zone changes:

Superior Gear moved to DZR15

High End moved to DRZ25 for ilvl30

High End ilvl31 unlocked at DZR40

While nothing relevant was mentioned...there will be purchases for DZR75 and DZR90

They should really fix the falling through the map issue on PS4 and that a number of missions will not start. The falling-through-map-issue has now happened to me in 3 different challenge modes where after throwing a sticky bomb the character would slowly sink to the bottom - looks hilarious, but then takes several respawns until the issue fixes itself.

Reading the patch-notes, it is now the time to deconstruct as much gear as possible and craft HE mats. They should really combine credits - what is the point of having regular credits (I have 3m), darkzone credits (I have 500K) and phoenics credits (I never have any)? Would be much better to have the credits interchange (i.e. 1 phoenics credit = 2K regular credits)

The buff from Smart Cover no longer stacks if multiple teammates are using it on the same piece of cover

No more cheesing through Challenge Modes

I have been done with main story + all encounters, side missions and BOO is 100%, I am currently level 30 on SP and 24 on DZ, so my main focus now is to get better gear.

The falling through the floor happens on PC too. Really annoying.

I'm lucky enough that I have hardly rolled any items, so I've managed to save lots of my materials and Phoenix credits. Thank the pope. Think I have bout 700 Phoenix credits.

I'd recommend buying any relevant Blueprints from the PxC vendor in the Base if you haven't already, as these blueprints will be cycled out and replaced with the current DZ blueprints - you may lose out on being able to craft an Electronics Holster (for example) if you don't have the blueprint already

FA: 84007 Dps
Prim AK - 7254
Sec: M1A - 26400
Health : 39849
Skill : 2146

Sounds like your stat split is roughly 1800 Firearms, 1500(?) Stamina, 2100 Electronics (this one is tricky to work out)

If your Electronics is that high, swap those pieces for Stamina pieces and look for +SkillPower on Backpack and Mask to minimize the drop in Electronics. You can focus on Electronics again after your HP is satisfactory

Try and raise your Stamina to around 1900-2000 before beginning Challenge Modes ~ you want at least 60k hp
