The Division

Same drop in stats as well (PS4). Lots of lag and getting one-shot-killed in the DZ by campers outside of safe-houses/checkpoints. I played for 30 min and then gave up. The PVE is a bit dull even with HVT. Despite having a GS of 213 I am getting kicked off incursions and I am really so past the saltiness and poisonous community in this game.

I am not sure why, but the PS4 Destiny community has always been more welcoming / supportive. Picked up the game after a 2 month sabbatical and no-one had an issue that I was initially undergeared - something you will not see often in Division.

I am also annoyed that they dropped the DLC update onto the PS4 and only unlock it some time in August - so no real point in playing right now anyhow as the existing gear will be completely outdated when the DLC opens up (and by that time the DLC gear will be nerfed anyhow).

WOHOOO(sorry not aimed at you) so it is not just me that got shafted with no lube :).

Well I guess that it will not get fixed the stats anyway so either we need to take it on the chin once more and move on.


On another note, what is the use to having an extra character?
Maybe I am missing something, is it just to replay the story again or is there actually a valid reason?

AFAIK most people used the ALT so that they could wreck havoc in DZ without any real consequences and farm loot off other players. I always felt that Division should have a shared DZ-level rank across all characters. I think the daily/weekly mission are account bound (I used alt toons in Destiny so that I could re-run weekly missions 3 times for a higher chance of loot drop).

Happened to me a few times as well, the bastards! :mad:
 
Something new after the last update. If you while doing/gathering intel, you'll respawn back to the safe house. Try going back to that same location and you'll respawn again and again I assume in an endless cycle. Very annoying. Your only other option is to fast travel to another safe house.

That I have seen or take a different route to your destination seems to fix/bypass the problem.

On the same topic, if you die in the HVT quest you can just go back to the BoO and go the person that gave you the quest, they will reactivate the quest at NO COST(not like before the update) and just set a new location where the HVT can be found now.

It is generally across the map from where you are :)

You could do that before the update as well, on PS4 atleast. Never had an issue with that. And I died quite a few times doing HVT :D

BU(before update) I did not have that, every time I died they charged me to reactivate (maybe just saw the sucker comming in me and double charged me)


I just wish they can take out the mandatory walk to the new social location in the BoO, its bloody long walk and I really cant see the requirements for it unless they use that time to load up that section for you
 
I think the more annoying feature (bug?) is that when doing challenge missions / incursions and a player gets DC'ed you can not kick him anymore. We had this yesterday (I was not party leader, but the guy running the party said that there is no way to kick a user who went DC). Sounds like they fixed the kicking of people in the wrong way.

LOL one thing I noticed this weekend what they did is in the Russian Cons.
They actually close down doors behind you now.
I was the group leader, we were in the middle of a huge battle and was not doing so well with a Leroy in our midst so I continuously died trying to revive him.
So the two other people left and the Leroy saw he is not going to make it in here so he left as well.

I could not go back as before to actually start a new team in the middle of the mission they actiually closed down the doors behind us so we cant get back in the server room :)

I must say I am partying up now in the safe houses that works good to farm stuff and stay out of the DZ for a bit.
I lost my super duper AUG with the last update, so I am really trying to get a decent SMG again.

I am still annoyed by dying so quickly, I used to be able to take a lot of hits but now it takes a few shots and I am out.
 
Just a quick question on the Fire Arms stat. When you're in the inventory looking at a weapon. On the right it gives you DMG (which I assume is the damage per bullet) and the Rounds per minute. These two will then give you the base DPS of a weapon excluding mods.

On the left below/next the weapon it also gives you a DPS stat (white). Does this stat already include the effect of your firearms stat?

Reason I'm asking is, I picked up a weapon with 85k DPS on the left and dropped it for a teammate. When he picked it up he said that the dps only showed as 59k in his inventory. His firearms stat was lower than mine.

Yes, the DPS takes into account the Firearms Stat

Also If you are using something like the Striker set you will see the DPS changes while in battle as the stats of the gear set also effects the DPS

I am in a real crappy level now.
The enemies are on a more difficult level 33 and my gear is not up to scratch to handle them.

So I am just now free roaming to see if I can get better gear, because I cant survive alone in the DZ :)

Thats seems to be the general issue but also GS means nothing if your Toughness and Stamina are too low.

I mostly run DZ 1 and 2 alone with 32 NPCs (GS just below 200) which is ok but as for cleaners, they melt you pretty quick.

If you're on XB or PC then getting gear in the Underground missions shouldn't be a problem.
 
Currently running Underground Hard mode, but mostly crappy 214 gear set pieces. Swimming in Firecrest and Lone star gear.

Had decent group the other night and we made light work of about 3 hardmodes (3 handicaps up). My GS was around 200, the other were all round 230-240. The leader switched it up to challenging and we wiped at the fist set of NPC's. The jump is just insane.

Not sure were to get the gear for Challenging modes as I've yet only seen 1 x 240gs piece drop in underground hardmodes so far. At low 200gs the DZ 200-230 is undoable for me solo, not sure how it'll be in a group.

I am on PS4 but my thinking is along the road that if I can get a good team one night I can actually farm nice stuff in that category of the 200+Gs

But yes I reckon that I should maybe downgrade my GS to actually be in the better easier section of DZ.
