Hey AvSupply, I've installed the latest M8 rom and super happy except for a couple of small glitches.
The ethernet from time to time has disabled itself - I can't seem to find the trigger. I noticed it happening while I was in XBMC mostly I think - not sure if there's a timeout somewhere that's disabling it.

The second issue is that the skin that works for XBMC 13.2 Gotham is Aeon Nox but it doesn't have the option for live TV (PVR options) like confluence does. I found an upgrade for it that adds that here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=193991
The trouble is that the install requires me to move the two folders to the XBMC installation's skins folder - can you point me in the right direction? I can't seem to find that folder. Confluence seems to crash XBMC occasionally so I've avoided it.

Otherwise it looks great!

@Arietans: I had the same problem. I'm not really sure what I did but I changed the skin to Confluence and after installing the Live TV streams I changed it back to Aeon Nox. After doing that I noticed that the TV streams were in a folder called TV Channels.

Ah - I'll try that. When you say TV Streams, you mean the items under Live Streams? I'm using PVR IPTV simple client.
Thanks

As I said I'm not exactly sure what I did. I first tried to install the PVR IPTV client from your video using the Aeon Nox skin and I could not find a Live TV menu after installing it. Then I changed to Confluence and found an empty Live TV menu. Then I went into Settings > Add-Ons > Enabled Add-Ons > PVR Clients and checked that the PVR IPTV Simple Client had been configured with the correct vdubt25 and vguide2 addresses. After restarting XBMC the live feeds were correctly installed under the Live TV menu using the Confluence skin. Then I changed back to Aeon Nox and found the same feeds under the TV Channels menu in Aeon Nox.

OK - it's kind of weird but I have nothing under the TV channels menu unless I co back and find the addons, if I switch to confluence, the PVR IPTV stuff appears under Live TV but switching back to Aeon Nox, they're nowhere to be seen. I'll see if I can figure out the skins folder and replace Aeon Nox with the one in the link earlier.

iru786 apparently created a new Live TV menu item and added the IPTV feeds so that might be another option.

Hi Guys...
I have added IPTV as shown in the video posted by @Arietans (Thanks for the vid).

I have also created a new menu item called Live TV for it in Aeon Nox. Now my question is that how do i go about adding sub-menu to it "History Channel" , "Discovery" Etc? I want to add same kind of menu for SportsDevil ( Cricket, Football etc).

Can anyone point me in right direction?

Thanks

Hey iru786, can you tell me how you got it working on Aeon Nox? I can't seem to find IPTV anywhere after installing and enabling it.

@Arietans: This video shows how to setup your menus in Aeon Nox.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sw-sabx-4jE

Looking at my TV Channel menu setup the Default Select Action for IPTV seems to be ActivateWindowAndFocus(MyPVR,32,0,11,0). I would try to add a Live TV menu and type this in as the Custom Action and see if the feeds appear.

Here are the actions for the EPG, Radio, Record features etc.

Thanks Yotch! I may just settle for rolling back to the previous rom though, the LAN / Wifi connection gets turned off randomly on this rom - even when it's being used to streat, so I don't think it's a timeout, probably just a glitch.

Looks like i'm not the only one experiencing it...

Hi Djin,

The 1GB MXIII with a Gyroscopic remote is R1450 - R1550 (depending on which remote you get)

I'm pretty sure the Roku 3 price after shipping and duties is the same or slightly less/more

In deciding, it makes sense to get a device that ticks the majority of your requirement boxes. I personally only use XBMC and Youtube, so the MXIII suits my needs perfectly

@Djin: I am running both Netflix and Hulu Plus on my MXIII. I have a few screenshots of the menus from Netflix / Hulu Plus if you want to see - the content is protected via DRM so I can't capture it unfortunately. My 10Mbps line struggles to stream at 2Mbps so I cannot get the 720p and 1080p modes in any case.

Thanks for the advice guys. While I am leaning towards MXIII now, its just a pity I can't use my eBucks on your site AV :(

I've got UnoTelly, so if I can get netflix and hulu+ content via XMBC, the savings will pay for the device :D

@AVSupply
Any backlit remotes to go with the MXIII?

Hi there

We have one but it only has a mouse trackpad with QWERTY keyboard and laser pointer (Not Gyroscopic)

I'll send you the product link after adding it to the site
