Just make sure you look at correct model . The Mi boxes look the same but two models are for Chinese market. You want Mibox international running android TV 6 os.

Cool, if the wife and kids prefer android tv and use he shield maybe I'll try the mi box.

I'm a sucker for AliExpress, you seen it on there? Plenty have been sold...

Think the best of both companies .Most powerful all round box. Frequent software updates. Simple intuitive menu. Apps designed especially for it. Licenses and DRM check..For enthusiasts as it's overkill for simple streamers. I ordered 2017 model from Amazon but I have a android box addiction

I use gearbest because of Aramex fast shipping. You end up paying duty. If you use slow mail you might pay R62. at Sapo but expect 7 8 weeks delivery time
