Right Just seeing who actually is waiting for this game :)

me for one, dont even know what to expect of it, i just pre-ordered it :) got a demo code for it to play the demo earlier...

I still have an original duke nukem 3d disc laying around some where in my study

I'll be going away that weekend, so when I get back, I can hear whether its good or not, and there will probably be a patch for it.

... and I am all outa gum !!

from the gameplay vids i seen - it all looks brilliant. All i am hoping for is that it wont be a 6hour and its done affair.

Hate those short campaign style games... I also hope it's a longer game with a decent storyline and some new features. I like the old features a lot, but new is also good if implemented correctly. I believe we should all just stay positive!

I wouldn't get my hopes up too much about the game, I'm just going to enjoy what they came up with. How long has this game been in the making anyway, 10 years?

from 1997 - so about 14 years ^^

I remember watching a retrospective a while back that showed all the engine changes the game went through - now that the game is almost done they should make an updated one. Should make for good watching !

I agree that this game will be kak, although I think a lot of copies will be sold due to all the hype.

Anyone who pre-ordered the BoS edition from BT who haven't had price confirmed yet should e-mail/call them to update the damn order. Just saying :)

I've played all the Duke Nukem games. It was a bit of a riot, because at the time computer games weren't appropriate entertainment for little girls, much less violent ones like Duke Nukem and Death Rally. And Terminal Velocity. And Descent. In fact, anything with shooting.

One day I showed my mom the 2D version. She played the whole thing. Then I got the 3D version. I thought it was hilarious that you could throw money at the strippers.

I'm looking forward to the new one, but I probably won't buy it straightaway. Have too many other games to finish waiting in a line. Just finished SC2!
