Thanks man...hard to find peeps that appreciate experimental styles in sound...you in CT huh? damn i'm sure you have some interesting stuff as well...send me some of your recommendations when you get a chance...always looking for new sounds

Minimal Techno - Robert Babicz, Aril Brikha.

Electronic/classical/jazz/etc. - Efterklang (highly recommended).

Infected mushroom, Guyver, Paul maddox, Lisa Lashes... hehe there are so many can;t think of everything now! I love the Hard stuff, Hard House, Hard Trance, Hard Dance and Goa Trance, some psy trance, Don't really like commercial tunes but some guys are doing amazing things...

For the love of Electronic music....

Have you listened to the IDM genre? Pretty big genre now, mostly more chilled. Open your mind up to music other than the hard stuff, you may be pleasantly surprised. ;)

IMO there is music that falls under the IDM genre that is way more "psychedelic" than (Psy)Trance. :D Although of course there is the dance element in it, in which case Trance wins.
 
anybody listened to the new autechre ep (quaristice.quadrange.ae.ep)? i've been listening to it for 2weeks now. i think its vastly better than quaristice and quaristice(versions). last track is 59min! but good calming ambient reverb droning.

check out venetian snares - detrimentalist. i've been listening to it for the past month or so and i quite like the chaotic tongue in cheek abrasive choppiness as from older material. last track is my fav.

Maybe a few years ago, but all his productions are jumpstyle these days which is probably one of my least favourite genres right now. That and Newstyle...

The Old Skool productions lke Make It Loud still rock though...

Nice. Check out some of the emerging hard tech trance releases as well - you would probably like them! For a harder tech trance producer check out Vandall and make your way from there.
