Point 2 might work, I did it and when I came back in this blaze of glory, she was no longer the person I was interested in. Meh.
 
This is why I always maintain that men and women can never really be friends. Someone always wants to screw the other. In the case of th of fugly fatty she's the one who wants to screw you! :eek:

The thing about the first time you have an attraction for a girl, you don't see they flaws & probably make excuses for they actions. But when you disappear and better yourself, I'm sure they might be the same person but you just removed the rose tinted glasses you were wearing
 
Ehh, I can bull**** on the whole friendzone thing.

If a single girl 'friendzones' you its because she does not find you attractive and was not going to have sex with you either way. Before puberty I was fugly compared to the hot metro dude I am now. A large number of old high school (and even primary school) friends have since hooked up with me.

It's all about being sexy really... Makes you hard to turn down.

Same for me... except I fccked her within an hour of meeting her and continued to fcck her till I left town (9months or so) while he slept on the couch.

True story.

Dont have chick friends because i have noticed the pattern of inevitably falling for them. if the girl i ask out is unavailable, then i am off. That actually gives me the implied right to ask her out anytime she ever gets closer to me for some reason

I tend to agree on this. I've never turned down a guy because we are friends. If I don't find him attractive, I wont hook up with him, if I do find him attractive, then I will. But for me, its not just about looks- I don't like guys who are good looking, but with whom I can't have an intelligent conversation

You refer to attraction unlike InternetSwag who says its all about "being sexy". He can be sexy all he wants but if a chick doesn't have that attraction, being sexy ain't gonna help one bit.

yes, you are completely right in saying that. But the point I'm trying to make is that it has nothing to do with being friends or being in the 'friendzone'. If I'm attracted to the guy, friend or not, I'm going to be interested in pursuing a relationship

Am I right in say, its not just physical, but also things like confidence and game that you look for?

I mean, lets say a guy was drop dead gorgeous, but he was shy and insecure, would you go for him?
