We renovated my in laws bathroom recently, they had the brown.
My MIL was not impressed that we removed her brown bath because "you don't take out a solid iron bath and replace it with plastic".
When we eventually removed it it took 5 guys to carry, but she wouldn't let them take it away - she wanted to keep it for god knows what. After a couple of months lying in the yard she then said ok it can get chucked out.
That left me and my BIL with the wonderful job of moving this insanely heavy thing. It's ridiculous how much these things weigh.
lol - got budget & approval (from home ministry) for bathroom for now.
Does Craig use the brown one?I bought a house like this recently... The one is brown and the other maroon, very very sexy.

sho. This looks damn good. Our bathrooms are not that big though and are these tiles and styles (cupboard faces) available in SA ?You get modern then you get timeless...

These are marble tiles. There are marble suppliers in SA yes, but they will cost you dearly. These cabinet doors are available at builders last I checked.sho. This looks damn good. Our bathrooms are not that big though and are these tiles and styles (cupboard faces) available in SA ?
I’ve used a single concrete polishing disc to do that before.I have old style bumpy walls on my patio. Any idea how much area a grinding a disc like this would cover in tryinh to make it smooth?

I know everyone has different taste but that must be the ugliest toilet I have ever seen
Nothing in the entire house has been renovated since the 70s. I can't complain, it's enabled us to be able to afford to get into the neighbourhood. We've already spent more than the 25% saving off the asking price & it's worked cheaper than buying any other place in the area.
Renovated the pink bathroom already, still need to do the green one

Largely the best way to "buy up" into a better area.
Find a house that is livable but hasn't been updated or just needs some decent TLC to turn it around.
You might find those basins are solid marble - somebody might want them. Pity about the colours though.

The pink bath had a big crack, dumped that. The green one's in better condition, will gauge the interest when we get to renovating that bathroom. Apparently the fish-taps are in demand![]()
