WHat paint did you use ? Roller, brush or airspray ?
Just paint or any other before stuff ?

I added a cup of hth as choline was right

You are just adding things for the sake of adding it and hoping it works out..

Jy kak die pot mis, meneer..

Before you do anything else to the pool, take a sample of pool water to your nearest reputable pool shop and have them test it.. based on the test results, they will provide you with the right products and provide you detailed instructions of which product to add first, the right quantity of each product and at the right intervals.. while you are there, ask for a home test kit, so you can test the water weekly and maintain it accordingly..

Yeah, pretty sure I told you weeks ago already to go to a pool shop to get the water tested.. yet, here you are still struggling with the pool water.. perfect pools in Glengarry will test the water for free and make sure you know the volume of water your pool holds, as that determines the test as well as hoe much of whatever product is going to be needed to fix it..

i been to builders to test but ya hey my fault also i didnt run the pool enough to see what happens now im stuck lol

No dude..

Go to a real pool shop, Builders doesn't count.

A real pool shop will give you proper quantities and instructions to get things in order.

@WAslayer you in cpt right

there is one by durban road close to the n1 turn off

do you know them
Yes, they charge R65 and were pretty useless.. go to perfect pools in Glengarry.. water test is free and they provide actual good advice.. they said my pool would be swim ready in two days from my visit if I followed the instructions and they were 100% spot on..

Lol my pool look like that if my PH is too high.
Also sounds like @Iam.Sam needs to replace the sand in the filter or didn't backwash enough. I had that same sand gushing out problem. Said screw it and just replaced all the sand. Issue gone.

PS, If the PH is too high, then chlorine doesn't work. As in, the green stuff will grow when there lekker warm sun.

BTW, if you really lazy get a poolsense.

This is my pool and I didn't do anything for weeks. Need water top up and some acid to lower pH.

Also pump only ran like 2 hours a day
