We have a digidoor 2 came with the place. Hasn't given any issue for the time we have the house. So about 3 to 4years now.

Mine is probably more than 15 years old. Very noisy and doesn't open all the time.

Unfortunately that is your only really viable solution to sort of mitigate it, and even then its not foolproof.

I have the U Channel at the bottom of a similar thing in my kitchen, and in the April floods last year in Durbs the stuff swelled anyway. Cost me R20k to get it sorted out, but if we have floods again, I'll be in the same boat all over again.

In terms of making it look decent again, some wood glue and clamps are going to be your best bet really, beyond that I dunno if you can ever stop it from happening completely.

Hi everybody

We are going to renovate our bathroom in about 2 weeks time and i would appreciate if you could reccommend me any good people of the following in the pretoria east region

Going to be my own contractor this time as i have the luxury of time available but just need to know i have folks i can trust with the work, especially for the rhinolite (i had a bad experience)

Thanks guys, happy spending 3-5k - Ideally on something which could serve more than one purpose - will look at the circular saw with track guides.

I find myself often having the need to cut straght or square cuts doing home projects, and my hand saw with mitrebox, or jigsaw just don't get it 100%.

My wife now wants to buy a boxed shelving for the kids playroom - and the first set costs R3.5k - I'm pretty sure I could make it for under a R1k with the right saw.



The only one in the area is Builders Warehouse, in the 10 years I've been here, and requested cutting - they've been operational twice.
