Gentlemen, I present my latest predicament:
I need replacement steel window frame handles, like this:
Trouble is, all I can find, checked multiple hardware stores, are bolt through ones:
So I thought, I guess I could McGuyver my way through using the bolt through ones and a nut on the side of the window frame..
But, I can't get the bolt out of the window frame without removing the glass pane, there is just no room.. even cutting/drilling the bolt shaft, doesn't seem there would be room between the frame and the glass for the bolt head to fall out..
Cant seem to find the integrated bushing nut either, to just use those along with the bolts already in the window frame..
OTHER than removing the glass panes, anyone got any bright ideas..??
