this wall is really starting to bug the heck out of me (and mom)
this is the state:

it's a small wall that was once an outside wall to an outside toilet/shower, which is now an inside wall to the shower
so obviously it wasn't really protected against steam from the shower and so now it is starting to peel
so now I would like to paint it, but trying to just scrape the paint off is a mission because the plaster itself (not the paint),
has that 'popcorn' texture
short of trying to use an actual grinder with grinding disc (this is a small enclosed area, so the dust will be a nightmare),
are there any suggestions I could try?
I have tried a paint remover, an orbital sander (yes I know

) and short of using a flamethrower, a small blowtorch
