So you have a rich friend or your boss at home for dinner and asked him for the privilege of taking the pic of an iPhone?
(I never doubted you have one, only teasing you)
I actually think I’ve mentioned it before as well

Yeah it wouldn’t be for everyone but a simple couple of options in the menu would please so many people.
You think you are OCD? My mate arranges all icons BY colour.
Personally I want it simply by most user up front least used at the back. I believe this data is already tracks so a simple sort is all we need.
Would be nice to have the option but I like my icons all in the same place all the time
Ultimately your first screen would really look the same permanently based on your usage patterns.
Is it safe to install.
Stable enough. But if you are getting a new iPhone XS, it is not recommended. Something to do with losing all your dats
I am South African but am mostly in China/Hong Kong and Cupertino.
Worth it to upgrade to the Xs Max from an 7Plus? I am still in two minds. I am already paying R1258/month for my contract, but you have to wake up some day and decide that you are just paying to much... :-D I wish the Oneplus6 had wireless charging.
Hi,
Performed the update on iPad, but failing to reconnect to Vodacom... ("Mobile Data Update Failed")
Tried all suggested fixes found apart from doing full factory reset.
Anybody experiencing the same on devices with Vodacom as cellular provider?
Do not want to do iPhone upgrade now as it will "brick" it!
Thanks,
I restart, it searches for signal and then error message is displayed.Where are you seeing that error? Does the sim have a PIN on it?
I don't know if I would consider getting a new iPhone at this stage, I am not too mad about the FaceID especially after I heard that a friend of mine and his brother can open his brothers phone even if he (my friend) is not setup. It really depends on what you use the phone for. The big screen is good, and the FaceID in the newer phone is a little faster (it's not a new FaceID algorithm or sensors, just faster due to the faster processors) but can be annoying since you need to look at the phone all the time to unlock it.
For me because I travel a lot the eSim is worth it, well, when it will be supported by more carriers. It will save me the hassle of buying a local sim every time I land in a new country and can just activate a prepaid plan on my phone when I land.
If you're happy with the phone and running IOS 11/12 go look at the battery health and see what percentage it is. If it's less than 90 then get the battery replaced in the phone and keep it for another year.

It does have a pin yes.
The normal unlock sim pin request does not pop up as before just the above mentioned error message.

I assume you can log into the device, just the mobile doesn't work? Are you on wifi? Go to Settings..About and wait to see if there is a carrier profile update. It should have pulled down the latest profiles with the IOS 12 update (version 12.x) but you never know.
Yes, can get into device, Wi-Fi all works except for mobile data.
Tried Settings>About, no change. (Network = Not Available)
Tried Settings>Mobile Data, just says "An update is required to use mobile data on this iPad" with a "Learn More" link to Apple website and I've tried all their fixes suggested.
Settings>General>Software Update = all up to date.
Thanks for trying to help, guess I will have to go to Vodashop, not that I've got high hopes for that working...
Or perhaps iStore first.
They aren't identical or twins but do look very much the same.Well do you have an identical brother?
Besides that odds are any family members who pays attention knows your current PIN if they really wanted to access your device. FaceID would be more secure any which way you look at it.
You could also just NOT use it.
Silly reason not to want a phone and I call mostly bullshit on it anyway if FaceID is configured for the hardcore mode.
