Can anyone suggest a SA site or store where I can get a straight iPHone 3GS to stereo audio cable. Straight mini jack cables don't seem to work as the iPhone jack includes the video out, which makes it a mini jack with 4 connections. I have had an iPhone for about 3 months an have yet to find a local store in the Garden Route able to assist. I did manage to find a furniture store, which surprisingly had an iPhone Universal Dock for sale, which I eagerly bought for rip-off amount of R595.00 and lo and behold, no audio cable, only the USB connection. Please don't bother mentioning MTN or Vodacom stores. I have had my fill of promises from these guys and have yet to receive a single call back. All I need is a simple cable to be able to use the iPod feature thru my stereo system. I love the iPhone features and consider it the best phone on the market, but if I had known it would be so difficult to get a simple audio connection working from where I reside, I probably would have gone for another phone.

Know what you mean, however I found that the normal aux cable I bought works on iphone 3G. Just try another aux cable maybe? I havent seen a specific aux cable for iphone. Look on igear maybe? (and now others are going to tell you to not buy from igear)

If that was the case then regular headphones wouldn't work either, maybe you just got a dud cable?

Universal dock with remote is what I would recommend but the cable kit should suit your needs.

Hey..

Does anybody know any way or any app to track somebody calling from a blocked number?

For the last 3 weeks I get 1 call a day, always a random time from a blocked number.. The person says nothing, just dead silence then I hear a click..

I always answer ''Gregg speaking, hello'' because I never know if its business.. Last few times I've said nothing and just picked up and listen..

I get a very weird vibe and feeling about this.. I'd usually just blow it off but right now I want to tracker this *****er down..

I get exacly the same thing....
blocked number... I answer.... no answer... dies.....

Every day

So now i just set my Iblacklist to reject all unknown and blocked numbers .... have no idea what the difference between a Unknown and blocked number is....

I'm not the kind of person who just like everything to be done for me. I like to struggle a bit when I get something new but there is no way how I'll be able to go through 8000+ posts to learn how everything is done.

Is there some kind of tutorial somewhere that will help me do this?

Like, which version should I use, what do I need?

I'm running a Windows 7 64bit system by the way.

youtube is your friend

If it's a new iPhone you will only be able to do a "tethered" jailbreak.. Read page 1

I read on xsellize that you can now buy a dongle that you can use with the new version 3GS phones, so you can jailbreak it, and everytime you want to sync to itunes, you just plug the dongle into the phone and then into itunes and you won't need to jailbreak it again
