Hey Roland, on your tablet, is the touchscreen capacitive? Windows 8 seems to bring way more touch stuff.

the asus eee slate is a multitouch capacitive for finger touch and also has a digitizer for pen type input, first tablet that gives you the best of both, what's even better is that W7/IE9 distinguishes between the two and treats them differently

Eyenstyn - not yet, I might when it gets closer to being released, right now they are very early in development with the next OS

Hey guys.
Last night I was trying to create a US iTunes account after looking for apps to play ''flash'' content and youtube downloader, but encountered a problem when it comes to billing. The "none"option has been removed. Now, is there a way to circumvent this?
I have just upgraded to version 4.3.3.

you must select a free app first, then sign up and the none option will be there

Can the iPad1's baseband be used with the 3G? If yes then do that and for the rest Google is your friend. ;)

So you use pwnagetool unlock edition or redsn0w to put the iPad 06.15.00 baseband on and then unlock with ultrasn0w. Do you really need links? Let me know, it's pretty easy to find via google. A warning: you lose GPS functionality and cannot go back on this. But it's worthwhile if you have no other option.

As luck would have it 2 people have asked me to unlock their 3G iPhones for them. Both UK phones.
Very easy
1)Download the 4.2.1 ipsw file and Redsn0w.
2)Update phone to 4.2.1 if it isn't already up to date
3)Run Redsn0w and point it to the 4.2.1 file
4)Select "install cydia" and "install iPad baseband" then follow the instructions
5)Once it's done its thing you need to open Cydia and install Ultrasn0w then reboot

Easy as that...

Thanks:) Does it matter what version of Redsn0w I use? I.e can I use the latest one?

Cool.

I doubt it matter but for the record, I've used this one - "redsn0w_mac_0.9.7b6". It was the oldest version I could find on my PC.
