Yes! Did it! For anyone that is wondering, you can't select "Install Cydia" and "Install iPad Baseband" at the same time other wise redsn0w crashes. Need to jailbreak first then install the baseband. Thanks for all the help.

The first version worked fine but the one after that didn't. I see there is a new version out but I haven't bothered upgrading.
Apple has removed JB detection from Xcode so if they're using that now the new version should work fine.

Strange, I did them at the same time and it worked fine.

Hey guys

Can anyone advise me how to jailbreak from Greenp0is0n 4.2.1 to the latest untethered jailbreak available?
I do not want to make a messup and lose all my apps/games on my phone

Your advice is much appreciated :)

You need to have saved the SHSH for 4.3.3. Hopefully Cydia did that for you.
Pirated Apps: Make sure you have the .IPA's of your Apps, in iTunes. If you downloaded Apps via installous you can SSH the IPA's off your iPhone but that's a little tricky.
Non-Pirated Apps: Just Authorize your PC with the iTunes store.
Backup your iPhone with iTunes (just let it sync).
Now get the 4.3.3. IPSW from here:http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
Use Tinyumbrella to restore to 4.3.3 with iTunes (Shift-restore or option-restore).
Now go to Jailbreakme.com and voila.

While Synaesthesia methods are right, Apple are no longer signing 4.3.3, so unless you have the SHSH blobs saved for 4.3.3, then you won't be able to upgrade/restore to that firmware.. If you have the blobs, then use them and do what Synaesthesia said.

****, forgot to save the 4.3.3 SHSH blobs... Is there a jailbreak out for 4.3.4 yet?

Nope, and it has been said not to expect an untethered 4.3.4 jailbreak any time soon..

You should follow iPhoneZA on twitter and facebook, as well as our forums.. We warn of these kind of things over there :)

If you are already on 4.3.3, iFaith should be able to create a signed IPSW file with your SHSH blobs in it..

you were jailbroken before, so cydia would have stored the shsh blobs online for you, open cydia, at the top of the home screen in green it will say if it has shsh on file and for which firmware version, you can restore to anything on file in cydia by simply opening c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file with notepad and adding:
74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
to the bottom of the file

now download the firmware you want to restore to (4.3.3 - use the links on iclarified to download it straight from apple) and then do a backup in itunes of your phone followed by a restore to that downloaded firmware by holding shift and clicking restore and then browsing to the file you downloaded

the replaced apple auth server will authenticate the restore for you, and once the restore is done, you can jailbreak, and then do a restore from backup to the phone (not software restore, just re-load the backup you made in itunes)

lol..dont get you though? he asked if he could upgrade to the latest untethered jailbroken firmware, which is 4.3.3 to which I replied not what you quoted (that was to paddy), but:

it would appear i'm loosing it... didn't realize paddy joined in on a conversation specific to techaddict.... was pointing out that you were questioning the availability of his (techaddict's) shsh blobs even though he's already jailbroken on 4.2.1. in which casecydia has them ;) paddy didn't specify currently/previously jailbroken or not
