Was there a thread on users gamecentre usernames that I missed? Most of the iGames nowadays have gamecentre integration and there are a lot of multiplayer games hitting the market also.

Some rad new features there. Anyone know if there has been speculation as to whether we will still be able to jailbreak?

Early signs would suggest that iOS 5 will be jail breakable but the Tiny Umbrella exploit allowing for the user to save blobs has been blocked so no going back to 4.3.3 or lower once upgraded to iOS 5.

I also suspect it's only a matter of time before jailbreaking is permanently dealt with by Apple developers. Seems it's getting harder and harder for the hackers to crack new devices. iPad2 case in point.

Personally I think Apple are making a big mistake expending time and resources trying to block the jailbreak. I for one am unlikely to continue using a non-jail breakable iPhone and I think there millions more like me who would think twice should this option cease to exist.

Help please!

As per earlier posts, I'm trying to unlock an iPhone 3G on 4.2.1 which is locked to Orange Mauritius.

I run Redsn0w, select the install of Cydia and the iPad Baseband.

It says fetching iPad baseband, then when it starts the Jailbreak process Redsn0w crashes.

Please help?!

Thanks :)

Did you get it into DFU mode properly/

BTW
I'm assuming you all know the iPad2 is Jailbreakable now? www.jailbreakme.com --> only for 4.3.3

Yeah, it goes into DFU mode and everything. Then fetches the ipad baseband, then when the pineapple man appears during the jailbreak process it crashes... Tried it on two different versions of redsn0w..

Are you running Redsn0w with administrative rights? Try that.. Also use the latest version where possible, RC16 I think..
