How do I see on an iPad how much space each application takes? I've run out of space on my 16GB iPad and it only contains apps. I need to select which ones are best to remove ito space used vs use.

Not Jailbroken. On 4.3.3.

In iTunes on your PC/Mac (I have PC so should be similar on Mac) on the Apps Tab when you have your device connected (so you are seeing the screens of what apps are where etc) on left of the screens, drop down on box and select Sort by Size and you can easily see which are installed and which aren't. Hope that is what you were after?

16gb in apps is a lot dude. Are you sure it's all apps? I reckon a playlist or 2 might have got added in there by accident.

Will be easy to see that with the coloured bar at the bottom in iTunes as it will show how much of each category music, photos, apps etc. there are.

Are there any credible rumours on when we can expect iOS5 to launch? I have a new PC & have put off installing iTunes until iOS 5 launches.
Edit: I see news sources say 10 October. They've had wrong all along though.

What irks me is how much slowness is actually written into the OS by default in the form of fancy animations!! It boggles the mind. I know I'm harping on about it but if you jailbroken you have to give Fakeclockup a try!! Honestly it's difficult to explain just how effective it is. You have to experience it to appreciate it but it makes your device at least 20% quicker on the 2.5 setting. Quite phenomenal really. Was working on a standard iPhone 4 the other day and it is just ridiculous....

Please please please guys, if you jailbroken add repo.insanelyi.com and get fakeclockup. You will not regret it!!!

EDIT: Also compatible with the iPad...

PS this tweak does not over clock the device. It is purely a software tweak...

Hi guys

Something unfortunately happened to my phone yesterday and I was forced to lose my 4.2.1 jailbreak by restoring to 4.3.5 using iTunes :(

However, I downloaded the shsh file from felixburns and would like to know if it would be possible to downgrade to 4.2.1 and then jailbreak using Greenp0is0n?

Please advise the steps needed to take to be able to get my phone jailbroken once again

Your assistance is much appreciated

Hi there

I have tried this NUMEROUS times but to no avail; i keep getting error message 3194

Tiny Umbrella does not even pick up my device on the left hand side :(
Okay download the greenpoison 4.2.1 exploit here... Run the greenpoison exploit. Not only will it kick your phone out of recovery but it will jalibreak it too..

EDIT: Does the restore process complete and then throw out the 3194 error message right at the end when the device should be rebooting? Or does it throw out the error message right at the beginning before even processing the restore?

Have you used TU in the past to save your blobs?

EDIT: Here's a tut on how to downgrade without saved blobs. Haven't tried it myself but it should work...

Yup, 3194 occurs right at the end; i'm trying the exploit from Greenp0is0n now as we speak
let's hope it works as i am on firmware 4.3.5 at the moment

mmmm... Sorry thought you were back on 4.2.1... I don't think the greenpoison exploit will work on 4.3.5...

AFAIK only an tethered jailbreak with redsnow currently exists for 4.3.5...

In fact you probably better off waiting for iOS5 to launch later today and wait for the untethered jailbreak for that, which is apparently ready and pending iOS5 official launch...

iPhone 4?

EDIT: Is your device currently stuck in recovery mode?
