Enable the Vibrating Keyboard

A simple program - KeyVib makes your iPhone vibrate for each press of the keyboard as you type.

When you are in silent mode, it is disabled.

Grab it from Cydia. A cool little program which I am using at the moment.. I like the feedback as I type

Enable 5 Icon Dock!

Just install “Five Icon Dock” From Cydia. Then simply drag an additional icon to your dock

Great little tweak as well

And wanna make sure of the latest method.

I have version 1.4, using MTN, have XP and Leopard.
I unlocked it about 700 posts back.
Phone works fine.

So now I would like to upgrade to 2.1, or whatever is the latest working version.
So anyone got the best method and a link please.
As well as plan B.

You won't be able to upgrade to 2.1 yet follow this tutorial to upgrade to 2.0, the transition to 2.1 will be easier if you're on 2.0.x already.

• Dramatically reduced time to backup to iTunes
• Improved email reliability, notable fetching email from POP and Exchange accounts
• Faster installation of 3rd party applications
• Fixed bugs causing hangs and crashes if you have lots of 3rd party applications
• Faster loading and searching of contacts
• Other bug fixes

What? Apple actually released a change log that says something other than: "bug fixes"

Have personally seen the mail client go mad on 2.0.1 and generate large amounts of traffic, so that is a welcome fix and I am sure everyone is looking forward to quicker backups and more stability.

I think this is also supposed to include some more tweaks to the 3G settings they tried to fix in 2.0.2.

I'm looking forward to 2.1. I have a list of 3rd party apps and often my iPhone crashes and hangs. I hope PwnageTool works first time with fw2.1 - and DevTeam doesn't need to release a new version. If i remember quite some time back, fw2.1-b1 worked with PwnageTool.

Ah ok. I was curious because I winpwned the SO's phone to 2.0.1 and was thinking of upgrading to 2.0.2 and then quickpwning it, but the Cydia notes said this will wipe all your apps. So you would have to reinstall all your community apps anyway.

Hi, I had a really nice converter app when I had 1.1.4 but now with 2.0 and Cydia I cannot find a converter again. Any clues what to do? Go back to 1.1.4?

Unfortunately you'll have to fish out $0.99 for it from the App Store.

Look for "The Converter"
