Wow! That was quick. That Mat dude from Swirly already replied to my email..

He asked me to triple-tap the galaxy and send him the log file...

Let's wait and see how quickly this gets sorted out... :)

Good news, I sincerely hope Apple will learn to accept swirly into the Appstore... time to spam the feedback form again.

Excellent - lets hope it is sorted. I will buy it if it works properly.

Just another question - I assume MMS videos are a no go? It just displays a Qicktime logo but no video.
 
ok got the gelaskin ... the fuel one ... quite like to be digging it :) ... only thing it does not fit as perfect as i would have liked ... tiny folds on the edges at places ... but im a perfectionist and they are really small, smaller than a 1mm ...

Excellent news, after sending Mats from SwirlySpace my log file and some other system files, he managed to see what was causing the error receiving MMS's from MTN:

good stuff. I found the fault and can now decode your file properly. it was a very special parameter in the message from MTN that made the decode go haywire.
It will be included in the next release, hopefully within a week.

Great news anyway, will buy the app before the rand / dollar rate screws up further.
 
hey guys, are you aware of the PdaNet app, turns the iPhone into a wireless router for the 3G connection.... (available on Cydia under Networking)

then, another thing, for those of you on vodacom iPhone contracts, have you noticed how vodacom has not activated HSDPA for these contracts, meaning, if you want the really uber download rates, you have to pay yet another 50 bucks a month to get hsdpa switched on...

how many people do we have on this forum on contract, anyone in the mood for a petition?

ctrl+c and ctrl+v doesn't work, but drag and drop from windows explorer to the phone works fine

I think the majority of us here own the 2G iPhone, so nope - not on the Vodacum iPhone contract... That's ridiculous though, first they only provide you with 250MB per month then they limit your download speed... Typical...
