Its not free, you have a trail period + need to buy credits.
Or I'm not interpreting it correctly!
ok, got my new iphone today, updated the firmware and ran quickpwn to jailbreak. everything went smooth.
now the problem:
i keep getting an error saying "could not activate cellular data network. you are not subscribed o a cellular data service"
how do i fix this?
Check your access point in Settings, General, Network, Cellular Data Services. Change APN to "internet" without quotation marks or "iphone.vodacom.za" without quotation marks
Magic! Thanks dude. I googled it but I only got the results for T-Mobile, which obviously wouldn't help. Good to be back in the iPhone scene again though...
check out www.bitesms.com
the app is free, and lets you choose weather you want to send sms via mobile carrier (regular sms), or via bitesms network (default is via bite, just change it in settings)
bitesms network you buy credits for, and it's about 10us cents per sms, anywhere in the world, if you sms like this, bitesms establishes a 3g connection to the bites server, and the server sends the sms on your phone's behalf, i've never used this, so, mine's always been free - sending sms via mobile carrier
BiteSMS 3.0 has been released in beta on the official BiteSMS Beta Cydia Repository. The application has a 20 day trial period after which it will now cost around $6 dollars to purchase.
Ok, I've been searching for an app similar to Remote, but which doesn't require a WiFi network... Any ideas?
Anyone have any idea why gmail doesn't work in China? My dad goes over often and can't retrieve e-mails there.
According to iClarified article http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=2852 it seems we will have to buy it when V3 has been released.
Thats just sad
