I think the ones that are online are updates to what was shipped with the firmware.

Just let me know how via PM and I'll see what I can do.there is a possible fix... anyone with a jailbroken 3G on 2.xxx please give me a shout, I need you to download your ipcc from the phone and send it to me so I can work off the original....

so here's the bummer....
turns out, our meddling with ipcc files has come back to bit us in the @ss...
if you've had a custom ipcc during all the 3.0 beta testing, you can now choose if you want mms or 3G reception, not both.. fun eh?
figured out that if you do a clean restore of 3.0 to your 3G, activate the phone, enter the mms settings manually under settings, and then restart the phone, your mms works fine over 3G
now I can't restore my backup, because the carrier settings will be overwritten again... joy

MMS doesn't so work all that well with an unedit ipcc file. see my last post. regardless of 3G or not.
nothing to worry about, did one yesterday, works like a charm
you just won't have tethering
do the restore, then restore from backup, then go to settings -> general ->network -> cellular data network
cellular data apn: internet
mms: (as per my post on the previous page)
Okay I installed it and it works perfectly, no issues at all.
So let me get this straight.
1. I install/restore to OS 3.0 GM. *Done*
2. I restore from backup. ( My last backup would be of the GM after syncing )
3. Edit the connection settings.
Will I then have tethering ? I don't care about the MMS really.
im not really sure... on Vodacom No, on MTN maybe? (rolands says all works out the box. I'm on vodacom and have both tethering and MMS, but I did update my ipcc during the beta process)
I'm on MTN, under Settings/General/Network/Cellular Data Network I have fields for APN/Username/Password and MMS settings fields which are blank.
By completing these would it possibly work ?
Uhm, seriously, can you read?
