Double click the .dmg in Mac OSX and it will mount. Then copy it to desktop and run

I will make a Pwned .ipsw for 2G and 3G users and host it for you guys somewhere.

Prob wont be local though unless someone is willing to give me some server space.

I have a choice luckily - just one thing confuses me thats the 'enable baseband update' setting on the general settings screen - is it necessary to tick that if using a stock standard unlocked vodacom iphone 3g??

bah - i keep getting an error when iTunes starts up - does not recognize phone - its that change they made in itunes to stop from entering phone in DFU mode.

Still no luck with MMS

Try experimenting with different image sizes if you're trying to send images. I tried sending a decent sized pic and I had the same experience as you, but switching to something smaller went through fine.

Still no luck - even with a small picture - seems to go through but at about 95% it just hangs

Why not restore normally? I did with pwned2.2.1 firmware

If I click on a picture in the photo gallery, I get MMS as an option now. Spiffy!!!
