If i remember correctly there is only a 16GB and 32GB 3GS available. There is rumours going around that Rogers (Canada) might be launching an 8GB soon, but the rest still only has 16/32GB AFAIK.
 
Voicemail Button - MTN

I'm on MTN and want to get my voicemail button working. Is there a way that I can do this on a 3G?

worked for me in the past, perhaps it changed on os 3.0, if that's not working your only option is to get an ipcc file with the correct config and upload it to the phone, i wouldn't recommend doing this though

My phone isn't jailbroken, can this be the problem?

But we're male - multitasking is not an option. But then, my iPhone is female so that might help towards multitasking ;)
 
Whats your guys usage stats like on your iPhone 3G 3.0 with regard to battery life?

So far I have 5 Hours, 12 Minutes Usage

2 Days, 12 Hours Standby

And I still have 20% battery left.

it's the price you pay if you want an officially unlocked phone, you won't be able to upgrade to os 3.1 with the phone you ordered from USA, so you'll be stuck with the mms issues permanently

i hope for your part the dev team comes up with an unlock for os 3.1, took them almost a year to unlock the 3G the first time

True, but personally, I have never had a use for mms, so that doesn't bother me. I also have great faith in the the iphone community out there. For half price, I'm willing to make a couple sacrifices. It is pretty sweet as is and to be honest I couldn't afford it at full price.

im lucky if i get 2 days off my iphone. Sure i do a bit of surfing, facebook and mail with it, but not as much with my old sony ericcson and i got 5-6 days outta that piece of scrap. I hope they bring out a solution to the battery issues.

One solution is to make the screen smaller and then add another 5mm to the thickness of the phone. Nope, think I'll stick to the current thickness and screen size and rather plug my phone in every night ;)
 
I don't know what the big fuss is about battery life not lasting more than a day. Before you go to bed, plug it in :) I use my iPhone literally the whole day, Bluetooth headset, 3G on, browsing, FaceBook, Gmailing in Safari (prefer the web app - easier to forward emails without downloading them) and I land up with about 10% at the end of the night.

I'm pretty sure the DevTeam will release an ultrasn0w for 3.1 for all you locked users, if not that youngster geohot will probably.... Can't believe the lightie is only 20!!
