If u got nothing to back up then u dnt need to make backups :)
 
So no need for me to wait for redsn0w after all, I built my 2G IPSW, made a backup and after restoring the iPhone it's updated, jailbroken and with everything as before.. pretty sweet.

What case do you guys think I should get? I was thinking the candy shell but are there any others that you guys think are better?

Candy shell is by far the best!
 
since updating to iTunes 9 I can't access itunestore anymore, anyone else having this problem?

On another note - What is the attraction to bite SMS?? I just installed it and cant see any reason to buy it - it does not offer any better functionality than the default SMS app (apart from the SMS subscription service which is more expensive than an SMS bundle for local use)

its just a nicer feel if you ask me. Has built in delivery reporting option, password protection, quick reply function (press the button to turn the sound up and click for quick reply). shows the amount of characters you have typed. Better in my opinion
 
Same here... the store is much better too, I can download on local after queuing everything without it trying to reconnect on international

Yeah, almost everything works, you just have to browse on international.

Edit:
looks like it's still the same, the itunesU downloads did not request to connect at the end of each finished item.
But the store works 100%

iPhone suddenly draining battery very fast - 20% overnight after a charge from the USB power adapter and after I installed biteSMS, iPhoneDelivery and the SBSettings upgrade. I have a feeling its SBSettings - anyone else having hassels after the SBSettings upgrade.

i havent really noticed a battery drain. Did my first AC power charge since i went to 3.1 so will see how it goes.
 
What does this mean? It was posted on Saurik's twitter page.

"The idea of the just released feature is that 3G users of Cydia, running 3.0 (or 3.0.1), can have their 3.1 signatures saved. ;P "
