Strange, something like this happened to me when I upgraded from 384k to 1mb. My adsl router indicated it was syncing at 1mb but no matter what, my line would max out at 512k. Eventually phoned telkom to reset my line(port). Problem was fixed.

Double check with Mweb that your account is ok and setup correctly first. Then try telkom.

Im seriously considering this.... Hows the shaping on openweb?
 
Ill give MWEB till the end of the month to get their act together before I make a decision . Plus I like the whole idea of having a bunch of backbone options to fall back on, with every backbone having its specific use towards the users needs. TWO thumbs up for having something the competition can only dream about having!

Do the right thing and use your wallet to do the talking. You wont look back.
 
Im confused, I though IS gets shaped the fastest of all backbones?

IS have different accounts. The cheapass R495 ones are crap compared to the IS based GOLD accounts. Two different products.

I'm on the IS GOLD account and it's flying for me.
