The Middle East Conflict Thread

Has you life been endangered due to:
someone not stopping at a stop street?
Or someone riding at 120KM/H in a 60 zone?
Or someone overtaking you at a bump in the road?

I didn't say all arabs were bad but some are...

I've seen many douche bags do this... white, black, indian etc.
A douche is a douche it is not restricted to arabs.

You clearly stated that all arabs don't care about anything or anyone. The lack of caring can only be reasonably interpreted as a negative attribute, so I am afraid you did say that all arabs are bad.

If that was not your intent, I suggest you apologise for your mistake and rephrase your original statement.

look at the post i made just before this one...

Look at the fact that I edited my post before you replied to my post. :)

Okay i made a fault saying the arabs, so its not all arabs, its just for many many years of my life i have lived with them and they won't even give you one little bit, so thats how i perceive it...

Are you taking on what i am? FYI i am english not afrikaans, yes i speak afrikaans very well but its not my first language.

i used the word "might" just in case you weren't aware how it sounded, so now we atleast know it was poor choice of wording. nothing personal :)

people in general won't give you one little bit, being arab has nothing to do with this. maybe you have had bad experiences or maybe not, but it doesn't make them all that way.

anyway, let's get over this.

yeah lets... we all got worked up over nothing and if i did make it sound like all arabs are bad its not so.

Yes, you also seem to be very adept at ignoring things which refute your bogus claims. :)

Israel is the problem, not Hamas.

Yep, thats exactly what Hamas say.

Israel has in no way created any impediment to Hamas' existence during this conflict. On the contrary, Hamas will only come out stronger with more popular support.

Heh..thats also what Hamas say

In terms of simple strategy, attacking Hamas was pure idiocy and guaranteed to increase support for them from the Palestinians.

Wow you and Hamas sure do have this all figured out doncha

Well Hamas don't care about anything or anyone, and its obviously working out for them so I don't see a problem :)

...its just for many many years of my life i have lived with them and they won't even give you one little bit...

That's exactly what anti-semitic Germans during the Nazi era said about the Jews.

But I'll stop commenting on this now.

Yep, thats exactly what Hamas say.
It also happens to be the truth.

Heh..thats also what Hamas say
And several other political experts, and it is also exactly what happened Hezbollah in 2006.

Wow you and Hamas sure do have this all figured out doncha
Again, it's exactly what happened in Lebanon (Hezbollah got lots of support from Christian Lebanese as a result of Israel's blunder, seeing as the Christians tended to lean more to the pro-west side).

Well Hamas don't care about anything or anyone, and its obviously working out for them so I don't see a problem :)
Actually, as has been proven with the US Council on Foreign Relations as a source, Hamas spends 90% of its efforts on Palestinian welfare, I.E. schools, medical supplies, mosques and the like.

But you seem to have an allergy for the truth, so I guess your outburst was understandable (though regrettable).

lol... the way you and your mates "told us so" about the Iraq war? You are the ones who keep falling for the same propaganda, if I was interested in going back to posts in favor of the Iraq war and "WMD" claims I'd be ROFL'n right now.

Now don't even go there! You haven't got a clue what you are talking about. Once again listening to CNN and the liberal media.
How many people do you know serving in Iraq?
Do you really think there were no gas/biological weapons found in Iraq? Do you not know where most were moved to?
Are you saying the bio weapons that he used against Iran and his own population didn't exist?

Why don't you do your own research and speak to some who were there? Just because there wasn't a nice neat 3 story high convenient pile of WMD's doesn't mean they didn't exist. Everyone knows they exist, no-one disputes the fact that they were used. They just didn't feature enough to make everyone happy about the war.

Read this: http://www.globalpolitician.com/21644-iraq-wmd
or this: http://righttruth.typepad.com/right_truth/2008/07/iraq-wmd-shipped-to-syria.html
particularly interesting are paragraphs such as this:
It has been confirmed across the board that 18-wheelers were seen going into Syria before the war, crossing the border soon after Iraqi intelligence replaced the border guards and cleared nearby areas for their passage. There are also eyewitness reports of the trucks going into Syria, and eyewitness reports of their burial in Lebanon.

The trucks with the weapons were tracked to three locations in Syria and Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, currently controlled by the Syrians, Iranians and Hezbollah. Sources I've spoken with that have seen satellite photos of the movements confirm that the WMD in Syria are at military bases, while the ones in Lebanon are buried. A fourth site in Syria, the al-Safir WMD and missile site, should also be looked at. From spring to summer 2002, there was a lot of construction here involving the expansion of underground complexes.

But anyways, as you say, this isn't about Iraq. Nevermind the link between them and Hezbollah..let's ignore that one. The fact is, are you actually researching any of your opinions about Israel and the Middle East, or just listening to CNN and what the media tell you?
They make their money by playing with people's emotions.
Look at the fake CNN "dead Palestinian kid" video recently. They don't get viewers with the truth, they get them with blood and tears. Do yourself a favour and do your own research.

G26

but now what if they're kids? are people going to slap law onto them too? in war casualties are all the same, whether you're holding a rocket launcher or not

Removing dumb kids from the gene pool is just another example of natural selection at work.

Sorry, I just don't subscribe to the 'all life is sacred' arguments. Tragic that it happens but tomorrow is another day and all that, and I have enough to deal with just thinking about me and mine.

Even the US govt. admits that they found no chemical or biological weapons in Iraq.

Are you saying the bio weapons that he used against Iran and his own population didn't exist?
At a guess, I would say that he's saying that they were destroyed after the Gulf War.

Everyone knows they exist, no-one disputes the fact that they were used.
Everyone except the US Govt apparently

LOL. Saddam was an enemy of religious resistance movements precisely because he ruled Iraq in a secular manner. He was deadly enemies with Al Qaeda... so actually I WOULD be really interested to know what link you think the two had.

Wouldn't mind seeing a source for this either.

Could say the same for you.

ah, but atleast we know where you stand now. tell me, how is a bomb coming thru your house and crushing your head "natural selection?" or did you miss those few biology courses?

and i'll assume you're calling them dumb like they deserved it. we don't have to subscribe to all life is sacred arguments to know when something is bull. life goes on for you becoz you don't really care, i mean it's not you house getting blown up or your kids being carried away in bags.

i have a philosophy, if the dog is not pissing on your rose garden, don't go complaining about it. so what are you getting out of this discussion?

Well, it seems that unfortunately this debate has fallen into two camps.

I find it strange that the side which supposedly claims to stand for "Freedom", "Democracy" and "The West" is side that is advocating murder and invasions and war.

But hey, it's only a bunch of arabs, right? Not like they're human beings... right?

that is the sad thing. people should look at things objectively and not have to sit on one side, but even tho i disagree with some of the things Hamas are doing i feel more obligated to point out Israel's bad qualities becoz people are being one sided. Xarog, slap me if i become an extremist for any side

i'll reward yu in bandwidth :D

Smalltownsky?

question i know its OT but why did you come to this forum?

am i not allowed to? why don't you PM me these things? you're REALLY bad with wording Peder :)
