What? The majority of Jewish people are not in Israel, and anyway, prior to 1948, they were managing just fine without Israel.

How many jews would you say are in Israel? How many jews are fighting in the Israeli army?

Did they, does the holocaust ring a bell?

The plan for Israel was decided before the Holocaust, sure the Holocaust is a good excuse now for Israel but most Jews are not in Israel.

Israel must really care for their Jewish People by having them risk their lives in a Jewish army that's in constant conflict trying to enforce the existence of a religious state in a region that is very holy.

The gaza deaths are utterly saddening, but what is Israel to do. I see no other workable options for them.

There is only three way this could have gone.

1. The Palestinian government work themselves to remove the terrorists who are firing the missile against Israel.

2. The Palestinian government asks for help from some foreign power to remove the terrorists.

3. Israel go in themselves and work to remove the terrorist elements.

Now obviously the first two wont happen, and the problem with the third is its nearly be impossible to achieve. But Israel can't just sit back and watch rockets continue to fall. This has been happening for years now.

If the Palestinian people and its government want to end this, they will have to do it themselves. If they don't, then we will continue to see occasional military action from Israel against them. It's just simply how it work. Israel is occasionally forced to attack to keep the enemy weak. If they just sit back for 20 years and don't occasionally attack, the enemy will slowly strengthen, and then when there is a war, it would be more bloody than the mini wars we currently see. Obviously keeping them weak also involves sanctions and the like.

It's a messed up situation, but it is brought on primarily by the Palestinians . They simply need to forget about the land issue and move on. If they don't then their pestering of Israel will always end bad for them.

It is, but brought about by Israel with its policies of taking the land from the Palestinians and bottling them up in bantustans and ghettos, thereby denying them access to their own funds, to medical care, sufficient food etc etc.

There is only one solution(IMO):
One state with one man one vote, create religious municipalities(legally) instead.

Yes, an apartheid-style bantustan democracy.

Even if that was so you want to replace it with Mugabe style tyranny

Amazing none of that yet plenty of rockets, bombs, weapons and billions in funds for their leaders to lead opulent lifestyles with.

Its not the fact that Israel are preforming these war crimes that pisses me off, its the fact that they are getting away with it.

1. No.

2. Getting bombed and your family and neighbours maimed is hardly "opulent".

So must Israel do nothing while Hamas fire thousands of rockets at Israel. Stop the rockets and the problem will be solve, as easy as that.

They are the best propagandists in the world. Which explains largely the support they get on a remote forum like this.

No it is not. The reason they get support is to counter the terrorist propaganda from a few radicals on this forum.

1. Stop treating the Hama's government like terrorists.
2. Stop treating the Palestinians like animals.
3. Stop the blockade, and treat them like you would any other country.
4. Treat them with respect, like you would any other country.

Walla, peace!

2. Compared to the average Palestinian they did. Before the Israelis were forced to to bring them down to size. Where did all that aid money go rwenzori? Perhaps all those corrupt officials were MOSAD agents
