Yes, I don't think people mind what they are saying, I think people mind that it is them, thats saying it.
Too hypocritical to be anything but alterior motives IMO

Tel Aviv rally decries Gaza assault

Amid cries of "Jews and Arabs refuse to be enemies!" and banners reading, "Enough!" thousands of Israelis took to the streets of Tel Aviv on Saturday night to protest against the country's war on Gaza.

Protesters called for an immediate end to the Israeli attacks, in which more than 450 Palestinians have been killed and around 2,100 injured since air assaults on Gaza began last Saturday.

Good to see some decent Israelis standing up for right.

Didn't see Egypt saying no. Obviously they've realised it couldn't go on like it had.

It remains very interesting, apart from reports that a helluva lot of the "aid" is squandered and wasted through corruption and incompetence. One must assume that it is partly behind Egypt's not letting much through its border with Gaza. It is important from a Arab perspective too that the Palestinians remain there and are not "given alternative accommodations" as many shout for as a "solution" to the problem - if you let everybody out of the Israeli-created ghettos and bantustan there won't be many left to fight. So doubly-blessed are Egypt in that sense. It's all quite cynical though.

Againa you leave out a key point. Geez you guys are really something:

But it is concern over residents in southern Israel, 700,000 of whom are now within range of rocket attacks from Gaza, that has kept some left-wing groups silent over the current Israeli assaults on the strip.

"But there have been internal arguments inside our camp, because some say that, if Qassams [rockets] are falling on residents in the south, we can’t claim that Israel shouldn’t attack Hamas at any price.

I gave you the link, didn't I? Was hardly going to post the whole thing. The important point is that despite disagreements and waverers, many do have the guts to stand up against the unwarranted invasion.

Here's another "key point" I left out:

"You can't continue to believe that you can fight attacks with more attacks. It's time to talk, not to die - not here and not there."

How does a country have laws similiar to apartheid yet gets away with it.
The 2004 U.S. State Department Country Reports on Human Rights Practices[186] notes that:
"Approximately 93 percent of land in the country was public domain, including that owned by the state and some 12.5 percent owned by the Jewish National Fund (JNF). All public land by law may only be leased, not sold. The JNF's statutes prohibit the sale or lease of land to non-Jews. In October, civil rights groups petitioned the High Court of Justice claiming that a bid announcement by the Israel Land Administration (ILA) involving JNF land was discriminatory in that it banned Arabs from bidding."

On Aljazeera an Israeli Knesset member was asked how long have the IDF been planning on entering Gaza, he said 9 months or more.. lol at least he's honest.
Honest and wise.
They obviously learnt from the recent conflict which Hezbooola "won".
