The Middle East Conflict Thread

The wind from the West has blown the plague of Zion off the fetid ocean onto the land. The people wait like rocks in the desert hollows, inert and silent, for the long season to change, for the wind to turn and howl from the East, blowing the plague from the land.

Seriously, are you looking for an RBP? Please refrain from this kind of post.

one could all maybe say there one person playing both sides at same time as his puppets...

/hat off

As I've said before, and no I don't blame you for not going through this thread in it's entirety.

Both sides should recognise and accept each others right to exist, and must not call for the destruction of the other, and then using indoctrination and ideology pursue that threat of destruction of the other side.
won't that be just nice, but i think its bit beyond that point... and even if such a state is reached- most probably it will be hampered or stirred around by indoctrination and ideology again.

Do you have any links or references to Israel calling for the destruction of the Palestinians? - we can provide many links showing Hamas calling for the destruction of Israel.
one could argue that Israel's religion has them to be their god-right to be there.

I guess the US vetoed the UN statement on the current conflict because it only called for Israel to stop the aggression, with no mention of Hamarse and their aggression.

I believe that the same forces that currently hamper peace in Iraq, are also at work with Hamarse.
slap on the wrist to continue the drive of the money (...war machine)?, lets face it, there's always profit to be made from conflicts...

Except there are already 8 million Jews there and they're not going anywhere. All they're doing is holding onto a piece of land that took them 2000 years to acquire. They have no intention of wiping out Palestine, they just want what is their's (yes, which does exclude Gaza and the West Bank).

so how then does the Palestinians come into play; aren't the land there's also from 2000' years back according to their scrolls too ?

Actually it their's. Changed it when I saw it.

As I said, Israel isn't claiming Gaza or the West Bank. That is Palestinian territory. Done and dusted.

LOL! You can deny away, and fool yourself - many people do that. Here is some factual history from Benny Morris, professor of history at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. He is quite happy with this, BTW, not condemnatory at all, but not in De Nile like you!

I never said bad things didn't happen, I said Occums razor finds your assertions ludicus.

As do many Arab commentators who noted that the invading armies told the local populace to leave.

But the goal of Hamas and the PLO before it pretty much is the destruction of Israel.

I wonder why they think Israel should not exist... Lots of people say Israel should not exist, even some Jews....

Links????

You seem quick to ask everyone else for proof! Now the whole problem lies right there, what is theirs??(Israels) How can a piece of land forcibly stolen/taken = acquired, not like they paid for it!

What makes things scary is that the plan for Israel was signed in 1917(before the holocaust) and these Jews believe God will punish them if they tried to return/create the Jewish state without God's consent.

That I know is wrong.

See why you need to give your sources? But since you feel it unnecessary I'm just going to state you are incorrect and merely spreading propagandist nonsense.

Most people would disagree. Please explain how you came to that conclusion and are not just sprouting propagandist nonsense.

EDIT:

acquire ( ) tr.v. , -quired , -quiring , -quires . 1: to get as one's own: a: to come into possession or control of often by unspecified means.

Where does it state it was forceful or illegal?

LOL! You are getting ahead of yourself! It's Occam's or Ockham's razor old boy, and it has absolutely nothing to do with what I quoted! One assumes "ludicrous", which is quite descriptive of your response.
:p

Most people would agree, methinks, not disagree.

For "forceful" why not see my post at:

and maybe follow the link there, because, wait, there's MORE!

And I have told you time and again it was land given to the Israelis by the United Nations in an amicable fashion agreed upon by many nations across the globe.

Ergo, you are wrong. And no Gaza and the West Bank are not a part of Israel. So please try again to explain how the land was forcibly taken.

Wow heaven forbid the selfish Arabs give up a tiny little piece of land when they have so much already. Where oh where would the Palestinians go, I'm guessing not to the other Arab countries since they must view them as the scum of the earth as they are unwilling to accommodate them.

Does this picture not make you laugh about how little land the Jews have and how much the Arabs have? How exactly is the Arab world under threat again?

LOL - I've explained it to you time and again - I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you. :D

We should just call out our points by post number here, we've been around and around so often. :D

In my limited understanding of the history of Israel, IMO, the problem is that the Arab nations that inhabited the land that was now "given" to form Israel, were not happy about the plan from the get go. And I can understand why.
