Israel will no doubt ' regret this unfortunate incident ' ( which killed almost twice the number of people that every single hamas rocket has killed in the last 8 years ) - but will add that ' there were rocket launchers nearby ' and besides ' they told everyone to go away a month ago '.

Let's see how close I am.

ok google it ... plenty hits on it ... stop avoiding the facts! Israel attacked a UN school now for the second time and this after having the co-ordinates of the facilities the army knew about ... so there is no excuse for this type of shelling!!!

Your noble IDF commander was interviewed on AL JAZHEERA and he ADMITTED that they have hit THREE UN buildings in the last 24 hours.

You can check it on BBC and CNN aswell.
 
Turn on Al Jazheera now. Israel Spokepserson is claiming the school was " probably booby trapped"

Three Israeli artillery shells struck near the perimeter of a U.N. school in northern Gaza on Tuesday, killing at least 30 people and wounding 55, a United Nations official said.

U.N. Relief and Works Agency Director John Ging said most of the casualties were outside the school in the Jabalya refugee camp.

"It's a very built-up area, so of course it was entirely inevitable that if artillery shells landed in that area there would be a high number of casualties," he said at a U.N. briefing from Gaza City.

Palestinian sources said 44 were killed in the attack.

The Israeli military told CNN it is checking the report.

It was the second Israeli strike affecting a U.N. school in Gaza. Three Palestinian men, all members of the same family, were killed Monday night in Gaza City by a direct hit on an elementary school, UNRWA said.

Both schools were being used as shelters for civilians fleeing the ongoing military operation. The buildings were "clearly marked" with U.N. flags and UNRWA had given the global-positioning coordinates of all its schools to Israeli authorities the agency said.

And so the myth of targeted strikes is shattered and the PR battle takes its own direct hit.
 
So 40 people were killed by these Israeli's pigs because a UN school was "probably booby trapped".

Th UN have also confirmed that the IDF are given coordinates od the UN buildings on a daily basis.

You ask so nicly and seeing thst this thread is a bit long I will explain it again to you:

Hamas attack Israel by firing thousand of rockets at Israeli citizens. Israel has the responsibility to protect their citizens.

Hamas is provoking Israeli in the hope that something like this will happen so they can get cheap propaganda.

I can not tell you what happened in this specific incident (and it is unreasonable to expect that I can) but Hamas must take responsibility.

The bottom line is that if Hamas is so concerned about the Palestinian citizens it must stop attacking Israel and incidents like this will not happen.

Two Israeli tank shells reportedly exploded outside the school, spraying shrapnel on people who had sought shelter in the building.

A source inside the Israel Defence Forces said explosives had been planted inside the school which caused the civilian casualties.

"After an initial investigation, not confirmed completely, the possibility arises that a mortar shell was fired from the school towards an Israeli army force," the source told Sky News.

"The force fired back with one shell and it seems that the school was booby-trapped, thus causing a secondary explosion."

Earlier, at least 12 members of the same extended family, including seven young children, were said to have been killed in an Israeli air attack.

' shells exploded outside' , ' not confirmed ', ' possibility arises ', ' seems ' - a pathetic attempt whichever way you look at it.

The problem is - The Israeli authorities are not allowing foreign journalists free entry into Gaza - I wonder why .... :mad:

Let's stop this urban myth nonsense.

The Israelis killed the people inside the school. Period.

Whether it is hamas fault depends on the side of the fence you sit, but the shell that killed 40 people came from an Israeli weapon.
