Will you then explain to us lesser beings why Israel is in breach of more UN resolutions than any other country on earth?
Because it's not. Because that's a popular lie.
The Palestinians however are.

OK. We have a good start here. You, oh enlightened Timgaul, at least recognises the UN.

Though my favourite line of thinking is: the UN should intervene in Israel because they have breached so many resolutions, oh and Hamas doesn't accept UN Resolution 181. Pot... kettle... black, anyone?
Israel may be a bit unrelenting in their attacks, but you brought this upon yourself!
So then it is about religion?
Every Islamic nation is calling for attacks against Jews anywhere in the world now tell me who is looking for a fight? Islam is attacking Jews, this is not about Israel, this is now about Islam and Jews.

Israel is not de facto state. Israel was mandated legally by the UN, your failure to accept that is a failure to recognise the UN - another problem in itself. Negotiations were taking place before Hamas chose to no longer recognise Israel. Palestine is completely unreasonable to Israeli offers refusing to negotiate.
You are blind to the point of it being frustrating by ignoring absolute fact.
I'm not sure why you have to resort to personal insults, but never mind.
Thinking about it - you are perhaps right. A number of Jews/Zionists did occupy the land prior to 1948, so maybe they have a right to a limited state, or a shared state of the whole area. I don't accept its legitimacy via that UN resolution though - the UN was a very new body that was used as a vehicle to solve two problems:
- the guilt or desire to make good of the west concerning the holocaust
- a partial solution to the issue of the millions of Displaced Persons at the end of WWII, some of whom were Jewish and unwilling or unable to return to their homelands
The UN plan gave the majority of the land to a minority, and resulted in a brutal period of what we would now call ethnic cleansing by the Zionists.

Statements like that is just cheap propaganda, if the true must be told then it is Hamas/Iran who calls for the total destruction of Israel.
Statements like that is just cheap propaganda,
I'd agree that "land" may play a role, but it's more to do with the vile ideology that is hell-bent on world domination by violent means.Isnt it? This is being funded by Islamic nations that want to destroy Israel. This is about religion as well as it is about land.
Then we can call the attempts at world domination by Islamists as "historical fact".Well, it's historical fact, so I don't know why you bleat again.

Mickey Mouse has just become "historical fact"![]()
Mickey Mouse - Not a "justification" but an example of the ambitions of a vile ideology.I don't really see what your Mickey Mouse item has to do with it or what point you are trying to make - you keep trotting it out as justification for everything.
Well, they are certainly in breach of a helluva lot of UN resolutions - lists abound. Furthermore there is a long list of Security Council resolutions that the USA has vetoed, in its role as Protector of Israel. Here are some of those:

So let's not go into denial about this.

Well under International law a blockade is an 'act of war'(that would mean that Israel has broken the truce with Hamas since 2007) The UN decides wether it is illegal or not and so far the UN has been critical of Israel's blockade.
Funny how now you hold the UN with such high regard but when it was against the Iraq war you were all behind the US disregarding the UN.
