Do you know someone there?
I am ALWAYS sceptical about specialist classic car shops like Miniworld or Beetle Buddies etc.I don't, why?
Yeh, know what you mean. In this case they worked on my bosses mini. Someone else on here, as well as redone my mini's engine 4 years ago, 2 owners ago. Still have the invoiceI am ALWAYS sceptical about specialist classic car shops like Miniworld or Beetle Buddies etc.
We have one here in EL also specialising in beetles and my oh my this guy has 30 years experience in hiding defects.
I mean bananapeels in the gearoil...epoxy in plug threads... rubber injected into spindles to act like spindle springs...
Some of those places will rob you blind if you dont pay them to do something specific and youdont know exactly what to look for to see that the job is done.
I am not saying do not trust them... I just prefer going somewhere that you are referred by a very credible source who used the same place for longer than at least a year.
Stirling.Yeh, know what you mean. In this case they worked on my bosses mini. Someone else on here, as well as redone my mini's engine 4 years ago, 2 owners ago. Still have the invoice![]()

LOL o okis it on the cards?
whats your endgame look like?
not sure. Put the louvre back its snazzy!LOL o ok
Louvre is already off. First thing is too get it roadworthy, and on my name. Make sure it's reliable.
Visually I would only like to add those wheels. Need to change the windscreen, has some scratches.
Inside eventually add a 7" tablet in the dash as the in care entertainmentnot sure.
Then I'd like to change the exhaust, from the branches. Maybe even put a golf radiator in front of the car for better cooling.
Dont like the louvre.Put the louvre back its snazzy!
Does yours also have the side mount radiator like the pram?
oooh, will the louvre on my mk3?
Try these guys for your rubber. Maybe they can custom something.

Some free advise... Call daily and lay on the receptionists back (...Not literally...)
Dropped my '67 off there in early Nov 2014 for a shyte load of work. Only got her back in March 2015.
He's good. But because of that - he is busy. And the mini guys that have supported him for a while seem to get preference. It happened 4 or 5 times when I dropped by unexpectedly to check on progress and my car was unattended. Some or another emergency had always arisen with some or another guys car.
