The Official EPL 2010/11 Thread

Chelsea did score the most goals in an EPL season last season.

still they're not pleasing to watch.

Do you not miss Ronaldo and Tevez?

Look at the Man U team last night. Carrick, Anderson, Fletcher, Nani, Park are all so meh compared to the days of Ronaldo, Scholes, Giggs, Hardgrieves

Carrick - did his job well
Anderson- last night's MOTM for me
Fletcher - Not at his best, but an important box-to-box player
Nani - our best player this season
Park - scores fantastically important goals.

Nothing meh about that.

You can complain about the quality, but Scholes is still there, Giggs too, Hargreaves was an anomaly, and Tevez is still in the EPL. Ronaldo is gone, but what are you gonna do?

Manchester City To Sue Carlos Tevez For £50m If He Retires

Manchester City are believed to be willing to sue skipper Carlos Tevez for about £50 million if he retires.

The 26-year-old forward recently slapped the club with a written transfer request, explaining that his "relationship with certain executives and individuals at the club has broken down and is now beyond repair".

However, the club turned away the player's plea to leave the Eastlands outfit, whilst pointing a finger at the Argentine's agent, Kia Joorabchian, for the saga.

Recently, there were reports suggesting that the former Boca Juniors man could quit football completely, and The Mirror claims that such a situation would see City taking Tevez and his representative to court over £50m.

It is believed that £50m is the sum that the club would stand to lose over the remaining three-and-a-half years of player's contract, if he should decide to hang up his boots.

However, it has been reported that the club would prefer that Tevez remain until the end of the season at Eastlands to re-evaluate his decision.

The EPL is rather too fast and furious, physical, and player's have no time on the ball. Can lead to some electric games at times, but mostly boring this season.

'methinks the foreigner's play in England just for the money.... everything else sucks (including the woman)

wTF you smoking? England has the highest taxes in the football game...

When you earning between 100-250 thousand quid a WEEK who gives a fook about taxes ?

People who see other players earning just as much but paying piss all in taxes in Spain methinks. Though I could be wrong...

These guys earn a fortune kicking a ball.....

You really think taxes are what they think about when they go to bed daily ?

If tax means that you earn 50% less, who wouldn't care about it? I know I would.

Of course they do... why do you think half of them demanding more... 250k a week minus 50% = 125k towards taxes. Anyone would be pissed!
